first stab

The Second Life Grid architecture needs to be guided by some common architectural principles:

  1. Design what we know
  2. Support future expansion
  3. Reuse common patterns

Our design process needs to also be guided by some common approaches:

  1. Don't try to boil the ocean
  2. Simplest thing that could possibly work
  3. Knowing, not guessing
  4. Build "Lego"
