You can tell Second Life to log you in at your home location, no matter where you were when you logged out. This is useful in many cases, such as if you always want to start the day at home, or if your last location is a region that's currently unavailable. While logged into Second Life or if you're at the Log In screen:

  1. Open the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
  2. Click on the General tab.
  3. Under Login Location, choose My Home.
