You can tell Second Life to log you in at the exact point you were standing when you logged out. This is useful in many cases, such as if you (or the region you were in) recently crashed and you want to come back right where you left off. When logged into Second Life:

  1. Open the Edit menu and choose Preferences. OR (If you're at the Log In screen): Click on the Preferences button.
  2. Click on the General tab.
  3. Under Login Location, choose My Last Location.
