No matter how you put it, it's the same thing: Sometimes entropy gets the best of us, and a region will go offline, rendering it inaccessible. The reasons for such a thing happening could unfortunately be many and various, but they're not quite as important as letting us know when it happens!

{{KBnote| Remember to check the [http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ Status Blog] -- we might already be aware of the issue, in which case we're working to fix it.}}

To report a region being offline, please [http://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ submit a support case]. Both Basic and Premium account holders can submit cases for this particular problem:

* Select '''Land & Region''' from the '''What type of problem are you having?''' dropdown and '''Report an offline Region''' from '''Land & Region'''.
* Fill out all other fields accordingly, including these helpful details:
** The region's name
** Anything unusual you may have observed before the region went offline
*Click '''Submit'''.
