Make sure your user name and password are typed correctly. Your Second Life account's first name (the one you created) should be in the First Name field; the last name (the one you selected from a list) should be in the Last Name field; and your password should be entered in the Password field.
 
If it still isn't working:
 
You can use Second Life's [https://secondlife.com/ss/request.php Password Recovery] to recover your password. You will need to know the answer to the security question you gave when you created your account.
