'''Rezzing a Mesh:'''
There are two ways to [[Rez|rez]] a mesh object in the Second Life world.  If you already have a mesh object in your inventory with the {{InvIcon_Object}} item type, you can simply drag it from your inventory to the ground.

* Bring up the Build Tools menu (Build -> Show Build Tools).
* Select the sphere from the list of shapes at the top and click your mouse on the terrain. This will rez a sphere in-world.
* In the Build Tools menu, click on the "Object" tab (in between general and features)

*NOTE: If you accidentally click something else in-world, the build tool will begin showing properties for the newly clicked object. Just click on your object again to go back to your object's properties.
If you only have a mesh item with the {{InvIcon_Mesh}} item type, you can follow these instructions to rez the mesh object:
* Change the object's properties from "Sphere" to "Sculpted." This is an experimental viewer, so ignore the menu transparency or any other oddness in the GUI.
# Open the Build Tools by choosing '''Build > Build'''.
* From your inventory, select your newly imported mesh and drag the mesh from your inventory onto the sculpt texture box in the build tools menu.
# Select the {{ToolIcon_Sphere|Sphere}} icon from the tool window and click the ground to rez a new sphere inworld.
* Finally, set the stitching type (below the sculpt texture) to mesh.
# Click the '''Object''' tab of the Build Tools window.
# Change the object type from '''Sphere''' to '''Sculpted'''.
# From your Inventory, drag your mesh {{InvIcon_Mesh}} onto the box in the Build Tools window marked '''Sculpt Texture'''.
# Set the Stitching type to '''Mesh'''.

VOILA! A mesh! It should behave with full physical properties and collision.
At this point, your mesh appears.  It is fully physical and can collide with other objects as defined by its shape.

There are two ways to rez a mesh object in the Second Life world. If you already have a mesh object in your inventory with the item type, you can simply drag it from your inventory to the ground.

If you only have a mesh item with the item type, you can follow these instructions to rez the mesh object:

  1. Open the Build Tools by choosing Build > Build.
  2. Select the Sphere Sphere icon from the tool window and click the ground to rez a new sphere inworld.
  3. Click the Object tab of the Build Tools window.
  4. Change the object type from Sphere to Sculpted.
  5. From your Inventory, drag your mesh onto the box in the Build Tools window marked Sculpt Texture.
  6. Set the Stitching type to Mesh.

At this point, your mesh appears. It is fully physical and can collide with other objects as defined by its shape.
