Second Life says it needs to update, but when I launch the auto-update utility, it doesn't work.

Firewalls, or internet security or firewall software, frequently block the auto-update utility from downloading the newest version of Second Life. Antivirus software may also prevent the updater from installing the new Second Life executable.
