== CT-122  ==
CT-122 is very old and outdated translation into Czech language, including it would need major rework - it misses loads of string and those translated are very poor quality (e.g. missing letters in words, missing complete words). Also it does not use czech alphabet actually and required fonts are missing. I suggest to abandon this.
~~explanation to this false statement added by me, Jarek Dejavu lower under this text.
~~removed advertisment to commercial webportal using the secondlife URL againts rules to provide false information making users to think that it is an official SL partner project, discrediting other Czech SL projects, etc~~
Hi ILT,
I feel it´s best to discuss these issues in the jira as comments here might be overseen. I added this as a comment to [http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/CT-122 CT-122] so that you guys can discuss which version to use :)

--Would love to, but that part of JIRA is still not showing for me any possibility to add any response. And i feel its very important not to work on translation which is months old, bad and wrong when there is current and good one. If i get finally access to that part of JIRA ... Hello everyone.
Things are little different then they can look, ILT CAO is one Czech SL user, who is attacking me constantly on internet, cause he is one of my Czech SL competitors. That translation here is realy old as is told in the header anyway, but there are no such errors as described in the post and diacritics are not missing, only are filtered out in this file and I have complete version with diacritics and updates to current viewer, which I will upload very soon. ILT CAO is quite known Czech blogger, but he started to be writing boulevard news about Czech Second Life events and when he have been lying about my SL projects a lot and I have publicly criticized him for the absence of journalistic ethics, he started to be doing vendetta and to broadcast lot of slanders about me and my projects.
This is just an another form of his attacts. You can find his block on www.pooh.cz/secondlife , he is calling me there FOOL of the Czech Second Life, PSYCHOPAT, etc. I should point out with all modesty that I am one of the founders of Czech comunity in Second Life, did this first localization of it before almost 2 years yet and founded first Slovak and Czech city in Second Life at Freude region first, then at Valuta and now founded first national Czech private region Czech republic (there was before a Czechoslovak region, but Czechoslovakia does not exists anymore in RL, so it is not in real Czech region and there is standalone Slovakia region now too, which is driven by my compatitors etc, so thats why), what is causing a lot of enviousness of course. I had to withstand a lot of attacks last year to my person,
It is quite known and accepted fact nevertheless, that Czechs (or at least big part of them to not be so general) are unfortunatelly not too much nice nation in this and enviousness is one of the results of 40 years of communistic goverment under Soviet union control which Czechs had to withstand till 1989 year revolution. Following years of wild capitalism start made from a lot of Czechs businessmans without any ethical feeling and it lasts unfortunatelly till nowadays. When Czechs came to Second Life, lot of bad business and personal behaviour came with us and all bad and good emotions are in SL much more easy to let out under cover of anonymity. So lot of Czechs, who started to be enterprising in SL started to unmercialy fight to their competitors and these are the results. You would not believe it, but one of my biggest competitors, who owns one of the Czech SL portals and who was my used to be business partner in first Czech SL project, even have been black mailing me, that my family will suffer a hard way, if I will not go away from SL or will try to take a court agains him because of the unethic way of his tries to get me out of my business in SL. I have asked police for help, but they have not helped me. I am preparing court against people who ruined most of my Czech SL business and hope it will not be solved handled same way like most of the cases in Czech republic justice systems, which is very criticized by Europian union (of which is Czech republic part) for the lack of the capability to provide justice in Czech lands.
So much for explanation. Sorry for that it is so long, but two years of very complicated relations in Czech SL environment are not easy to describe in few words. To find out more about who I am and to see few TV interviews with me you can visit my YouTube page at http://www.youtube.com/JarekDejavu Concerning English to Czech technical, gaming or general translations, I have almost 18 years of experience (started to be doing translations of English songs when I was 14, first game translations I did even on 8-bit computers, later on DOS games like BATTLE ISLE 2 or UFO: Enemy unknown, etc) I have been working several times in foreign countries like Netherlands or Great Britain as a programmer and I am writing and reading documentation to computer projects most of the time in English language for more then 14 years. So much concerning my qualification and experience.

~~update: Jarek Dejavu: Czech translation with diacritics was uploaded to JIRA to let users continue on the translation and to check that it does not contain any serious bugs as reported in the false statement from ILT Cao upper on this page. (this translation was widely used by users for a long time and lot of information about it was published even in Czech newspapers in the time of it's deployment in 2007 and no such errors were ever reported in oposite to that incomplete Zuza Ritt translation of just a few interface parts accessible directly from the SL viewer and which was very bad translation quality, cause Zuza Ritt is not professional translator)

Hi!

The Spanish translation link is wrong, should be CT-188, not CT-88 (Turkey translation project). By the way, I've downloaded the Excel and started working in translation. How do I upload it? Partial uploads? Who will merge contributions? How can we contact the project leader?

Best regards!!

Sergio aka Des Plante

Hi Des, it's CT-118. Maybe for the beginning you could add a comment to the Jira, stating that you work on lines x to y. This could prevent other translators from working on the same lines. For the CT-Project there is a mailing list where you can discuss translation related topics. You can subscribe to the list here: Ctproject Info Page --Torben Trautman 13:13, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Des and Torben.

Yes, the link is wrong. If you, Des, wants to work colaborating in this project with other Mentors and Residents, look at this page
