::Well, the problem is that the server and client are based on Pacific Standard Time while the date function is based on UTC.  UTC is 8 hours ahead of SL time!  This means that the date function is not accurate from 4 PM to 11:59 PM SL time!  That is also the time frame when most people from the Americas are in SL!
