An {{AWG|Avatar}}, in a virtual world, is a personification, or virtual incarnation, of its {{AWG|User}}. The {{AWG|Avatar}} is represented graphically within the virtual world or in a profile. The {{AWG|User}} provides a form of {{AWG|Identity}} to establish, or to persist, an association to an {{AWG|Avatar}}. The {{AWG|Avatar}} controls an {{AWG|Agent}} in order to interact with the virtual world.
