Irene Muni y "Aventura y Viajes"

  • Irene Muni vive en SL desde el 7-1-07. Pero con una cuenta anterior estoy desde el 6-1-05.
  • Soy una veterana viajera de los mil mundos de SL. Descubrir, explorar, admirarme: la vida nómada es mi pasión en SL.
  1. Y eso me lleva a estar codo con codo con otros viajeros y exploradores de SL en nuestra web y foro (¡puedes participar!): Aventura y Viajes.
  • Soy española. Soy enfermera con un master en situaciones de catástrofe o pobreza.
  • Me defiendo en inglés. Entiendo, con dificultad, el italiano y el portugués.
  • Coordino el Grupo Aventura y Viajes -el más antiguo en español dedicado a los viajes-, y sus terrenos, eventos, apoyo a creadores, espacio solidario, materiales de ayuda...

Trabajé junto con otros -especialmente con eva Nowicka- en el lanzamiento de clases y Sesiones de Orientación en español para Mentores, de recursos, mantenimiento de espacios en español en el que fue el SLVEC (Second Life Volunteer Education Centre), coordinación con el que fue el VTeam (el "Volunter Team", el equipo de Lindens encargados del Programa de Voluntarios), y un largo etcétera.
  2. Mucho de aquello -pero no todo- aún puede verse pálidamente reflejado en esta página del wiki sobre Mentores de habla española.
  • Cuando se cerró el dicho programa de mentores, busqué otras formas de echar una mano: en los foros oficiales de SL, en el foro de mi grupo, en los terrenos del grupo Aventura y Viajes...

El idioma español en Second Life

  • Junto a un buen equipo de Residentes de habla española, nos coordinamos para hacer la revisión completa de la traducción del Visor 1. Y, luego, para la traducción desde cero del Visor 2 (actualmente Visor 3). Ese mismo equipo seguimos revisando los textos existentes y traduciendo los que aparecen nuevos. ¡Y tú puedes sumarte a este trabajo: mira este JIRA!.
  • Muchos de esos Residentes somos miembros del grupo oficial "Second Life CT Projects", que estaba a cargo -actualmente Linden Lab lo ha dejado inoperativo por razones legales- del Community Translation Project. Desde hace años nos coordinamos para, hace tiempo, ir traduciendo la antigua Knowledge Base y -en la medida de lo posible- la nueva -2011- Base de Conocimientos, así como otros artículos de este wiki, documentación varia, etc.

  • I'm a veteran traveler of the SL worlds. Discover, explore, admire: the nomadic life is my SL passion.

  • I'm from Spain. I am a nurse with a post degree in Disaster and Poverty.
  • I can speak English (with many mistakes). I can understand -with difficulties-, Italian and Portuguese.
  • I coordinate the oldest Spanish group devoted to travel: Aventura y Viajes, and their lands, events, support for creators, space for solidarity, help resocurces ...

I worked with other -specially with eva Nowicka- in classes and Orientation Sessions in Spanish, resources, keeping the Spanish spaces of the SLVEC (Second Life Volunteer Education Centre), collaborating with the old VTeam ("Volunter Team", formed by Lindes in charge of Volunteer Program), and so on.

The Spanish language in Second Life

  • Along with a good team of Spanish-speaking residents, we coordinate for a complete revision of the translation of the Viewer 1. And then, for the translation from scratch of Viewer 2 (currently Viewer 3). The same team continue to review existing texts and translating new text. And you you can join this work: look at this JIRA!.
  • Many of these residents are members of "Second Life CT Projects" group, who was in charge - currently Linden Lab has left inoperative for legal reasons - of the Community Translation Project. For years we coordinate for - long ago - be translating the old Knowledge Base and, as far as possible, the new -2011 - Knowledge Base, and other articles of this wiki, documentation varies ...
