Hi, you can kinda preview how a template will be displayed by going to its page (like: Template:JiraSearch/LSL_Bugs) and then clicking on the what links here link in the menu on the left side (like: Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:JiraSearch/LSL_Bugs). I say kinda, because if you had variables in the template and are not using all variables in the page where the template is used, you won't have certain parts of it show up. But you knew that, right.
