: A good place for this kind of discussion is on the [SLDev] mailing list. There are instructions for signing up on that page; many Lindens and residents read that. There is also the Issue tracker for suggesting something you want implemented. I removed the comment on the main page as talk pages are for discussion about the content of a page, not for feature discussions. Developers won't see and discuss those there, it only creates false traffic for wiki editors. --Soft Linden 07:42, 7 August 2007 (PDT)

Hi, I agree that the best way is to probably inform people that they're creating redirects, but meanwhile, I'm clearing them up. IMO, talk pages for the bug triages should not redirect, but I may be wrong. If I'm wrong don't hesitate to drop me a message on my talk page. --Abigail Kohime 06:38, 30 October 2007 (PDT)

Hello Soft,

I did contribute something to the discussion section of main page.
About making the client/viewer a little less massive. Modular if you like.
Your reaction was to remove the content. And I really don't understand how this helps Linden!?
First of all I'm a SL user that is kind enough to share his thoughts with the makers of SL. Not to get better myself but just to help Linden.
And then...just removing stuff from a wiki just because it is in the wrong place is not nice. Reward the effort and redirect the content to the place in the wiki where it is more appropriate.
And if the idea is completely ludicrous, send an email to your "customer" to explain why it is not such a good idea....
Could we exchange some ideas through email? michel@artagainstwater.nl
