  • [12:04] Otome Exonar: very frustrating
  • [12:05] Otome Exonar: i ran into that yesterday
  • [12:05] Alexa Linden: ya, I've seen this before too
  • [12:05] Soft Linden: Isn't this only on specific edges?
  • [12:05] Soft Linden: I think I've seen it in the SW corner on a couple sims, but not other places
  • [12:06] Alexa Linden: that's a good question
  • [12:06] Otome Exonar: can come visit the one im retning

  • [12:07] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-16964
  • [12:07] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-16964] PLEASE allow adjustable transparency of "Nearby Chat" window, Chat History and Chat "Toasts" in Viewer 2.0!
  • [12:08] Alexa Linden: I just talked with the internal team
  • [12:08] Alexa Linden: and clarified what's being asked for
  • [12:08] Alexa Linden: I talked with the creator of the issue
  • [12:08] Soft Linden: Feature request, not a bug
  • [12:08] Soft Linden: But it's got enough votes that it should sure get attention
  • [12:08] Alexa Linden: and what's desired is that for nearby chat AND IM windows
  • [12:09] Alexa Linden: that there be a slider to adjust the transparency
  • [12:09] Alexa Linden: much like what's already in the preferences for Chat Bubbles
  • [12:09] Alexa Linden: NOT a set transparency
  • [12:10] Alexa Linden: I'm re-clarifiying this after the meeting on the internal issue and will be pushing to the dev team
  • [12:10] Soft Linden: The EXTs don't match this - so should still be imported or copied into one of the existing ones
  • [12:10] Soft Linden: Yar.
  • [12:10] Gramma FiddlesticksGramma Fiddlesticks wishes for option to turn thos 'toasts" display off.
  • [12:10] Alexa Linden: ya, I;ll be cleaning all that up too
  • [12:10] Alexa Linden: I'll*
  • [12:10] Alexandrea Fride: me to!
  • [12:10] Soft Linden: I'd totally just clone to EXT and link it as related, let them sort it out, hoo ha!
  • [12:11] Alexa Linden: lol
  • [12:11] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-2531
  • [12:11] JIRA-helper: [#WEB-2531] Blogs.secondlife.com / id.secondlife.com (processing login..) loop.
  • [12:11] Gramma Fiddlesticks: kinda defeats the prupose of having IM's groupded in a window.
  • [12:11] Soft Linden: But that's my passive aggressive way of getting the vote count visible too.
  • [12:11] Alexa LindenAlexa Linden nods at Soft
  • [12:11] Alexandrea Fride: Gramma debug settings => NotificationToastLifeTime
  • [12:11] Jonathan Yap: Gramma, have you tried setting NotificationToastLifeTime to 0 in debug settings?
  • [12:11] Alexandrea Fride: set to 0
  • [12:11] Alexandrea Fride: -.- jonathan
  • [12:11] Jonathan Yap: Alex :P
  • [12:11] Gramma Fiddlesticks: No Jonathan but you can belive I will!
  • [12:12] Alexa Linden: :)
  • [12:12] Gramma Fiddlesticks: thanks!
  • [12:12] Alexandrea Fride: however it do turns them off but i would like an option to just disable ether groupchat, and or im chat
  • [12:12] Soft Linden: I'd import and put this in front of Yoz
  • [12:12] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:12] Alexandrea Fride: i like my ims comming up there but not group chat to manny chat in groups :p
  • [12:13] Stryker Jenkins: Alexa... that Web-2531... is that related to WEB-1600 / WEB-1099? I.e. what the use of login in for only 1 browser session?
  • [12:13] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1600
  • [#WEB-1600] Logins no longer persist between sessions on forums and the website in general
  • [12:13] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1099
  • [#WEB-1099] Make a "remember me" checkbox for the Xstreetsl.com login site as well as the other SL websites
  • [12:13] Alexa Linden: the next issue was already closed by the creator so I'll skip https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-6225
  • [12:13] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-6225] llGetDisplayName and llRequestDisplayName functions must reflect changes to the scriptengine instantly
  • [12:14] Alexa Linden: I can check after the meeting and with Yoz Stryker :)
  • [12:14] Alexa Linden: thanks for pointing it out
  • [12:14] Stryker Jenkins: thanks
  • [12:14] Soft Linden: Can skip the "Sprint" issue
  • [12:14] Alexa Linden: ya
  • [12:15] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-6204
  • [12:15] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-6204] Group members still being charged group liability for "parcel directory fee" for long-abandoned land
  • [12:15] Soft Linden: Huhhhhh
  • [12:15] Otome Exonar: yeah that happens.
  • [12:16] Soft Linden: I assume the sims were abandoned, not the parcels...
  • [12:16] Soft Linden: And the parcels weren't removed from the db as a result
  • [12:16] Soft Linden: Lemme clarify the title to suggest checking that, then it should be imported
  • [12:16] Bronson Blackadder: abandoned land has issues all around
  • [12:16] Alexa Linden: and if the same group/members then bought more land
  • [12:17] Alexa Linden: it would carry over to any land they held, correcy?
  • [12:17] Otome Exonar: yeah. theres allot of abandoned parcels simply -stuck- for want of a better word, that cause issues to previous owners and would be buyers
  • [12:17] Soft Linden: Alexa - I think the problem is some parcels were set for search, and then the sim was taken down... but the parcels would still be in the db... so when the biller crawls the parcel db, it still finds those parcels
  • [12:17] Bronson Blackadder: abandoned land will still carry over all teh parcel settings that the last owner had them set at
  • [12:18] Alexa Linden: yes, also possible
  • [12:18] Alexandrea Fride: simpel solution delte the parcels when sim is taken down? :p
  • [12:18] Soft Linden: Well, the biller should probably look at the last traffic update date, and not bill if it's a week old.
  • [12:18] Soft Linden: Anyway, I modified the summary to be more clear - can import this guy
  • [12:18] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:18] Bronson Blackadder: better bet would to be have the parcel auto reset to a linden default condition
  • [12:19] Alexa Linden: agreed Bronson....
  • [12:19] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1911
  • [12:19] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-1911] llAddToLandBanList cannot nonpermnantly ban more than 8640 minutes(6 days)
  • [12:19] Soft Linden: Bronson - in this case, it looks like all the cases detailed are private regions that were abandoned, not abandoned parcels on the region.
  • [12:19] Bronson Blackadder: oh ok gotcha
  • [12:20] Otome Exonar: yeah a group that two firend sof mine ran, who sense left sl has run into this issue... :-/
  • [12:20] Soft Linden: I'd hold this for more votes
  • [12:20] Alexa Linden: last triaged date
  • [12:20] Alexa Linden: will do
  • [12:21] Soft Linden: Or even won't finish - 1 vote in 2 years and change
  • [12:21] Techwolf Lupindo: voted
  • [12:21] Soft Linden: Troublemaker :)
  • [12:21] Techwolf Lupindo: I thik nobody knew about it.
  • [12:21] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13369
  • [12:21] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-13369] Small and zoomed objects (prims) flickering
  • [12:21] Alexandrea Fride: :p
  • [12:21] Soft Linden: It can permamently ban, or it can ban for up to 6 days - are there really a lot of cases where someone wants to ban for more than 6 days without it being forever?
  • [12:21] Alexa Linden: I'd say NMI on this one
  • [12:22] Soft Linden: Did't we have this before?
  • [12:22] Alexa Linden: yes we did
  • [12:22] Alexa Linden: same images
  • [12:22] Otome Exonar: possibly soft. soem rolepay sims have a one year ban policy
  • [12:22] Bronson Blackadder: this looks familier
  • [12:22] Alexa Linden: but on a different bug
  • [12:22] Alexa Linden: yup
  • [12:23] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-20519
  • [12:23] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-20519] Second Life viewer causes full screen video to freeze.
  • [12:23] Alexa Linden: I'm wondering is he just chose every effects vesion possible on this :p
  • [12:24] Techwolf Lupindo: 30 day ban would be idel to keep the ban list from overflowing with too many permbans due to 6 day limit.
  • [12:24] Soft Linden: OS Version: Professional!
  • [12:24] Alexandrea Fride:
  • [12:25] Alexandrea Fride: 7600 = win 7 :p
  • [12:25] Soft Linden: NMI - is he talking full screen video inside SL? A full screen video player (which?) running SL as well?
  • [12:25] Alexa Linden: will do
  • [12:25] Soft Linden: Like - zoomed into a theater screen in SL? Or a separate player?
  • [12:25] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:25] Soft Linden: I'm also confused about the comments *sob*
  • [12:25] Alexa Linden: lol
  • [12:25] Bronson Blackadder: sounds to me he is having sl running but watchin movies outside of SL
  • [12:26] Bronson Blackadder: siolution... pick one or the other
  • [12:26] Alexa Linden: stop with the milti-tasking!
  • [12:26] Otome Exonar: win 7 sometimes is detected that way -_- im betting hes running 64bit
  • [12:26] Soft Linden: I still want a "Performance Art" JIRA resolution
  • [12:26] Alexa Linden: multi*
  • [12:26] Alexandrea Fride: no 32bit :p
  • [12:26] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2981
  • [12:26] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-2981] Opening a notecard with the same name as one that is already open does not work.
  • [12:26] Alexandrea Fride: Memory: 3580 MB
  • [12:26] Alexa Linden: Thanks Opensource hor adding your comment here
  • [12:26] Alexa Linden: for*
  • [12:27] Gramma FiddlesticksGramma Fiddlesticks wonders at that one cause she does that very thing all the time with no issues.
  • [12:27] Soft Linden: I think we alreayd did one like this
  • [12:27] Alexandrea Fride: 64bit can use his full4gb or more ram :p
  • [12:27] Soft Linden: Aargle pointed it out if I remember
  • [12:27] Bronson Blackadder: does this mean the exact same contents or same name but different text in teh card
  • [12:27] Alexa Linden: I don't remember this one
  • [12:27] Soft Linden: Annnnnd - he's not here!
  • [12:27] Alexa Linden: I'll take this one in
  • [12:27] Soft Linden: Yeah, it's definitely legitimate
  • [12:28] Bronson Blackadder: oh nevermind
  • [12:28] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8884
  • [12:28] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-8884] Ground level for stand animation while sitting on an object determined by the location the user sat down on the object
  • [12:28] Soft Linden: Fun!
  • [12:29] Soft Linden: Does this affect real products, or is it more of a "this isn't right, should be fixed someday?"
  • [12:30] Bronson Blackadder: I seen stuff like this before
  • [12:30] Alexa Linden: ya, I think I have too
  • [12:30] Otome Exonar: um allot of products have workarounds for this but it does happen
  • [12:30] Alexa Linden: never knew what caused it
  • [12:30] Soft Linden: Alright, let's import
  • [12:30] Otome Exonar: but... that said... i think theres ooo much more important stuff to fix first
  • [12:30] Bronson Blackadder: I think its sever related
  • [12:31] Soft Linden: Nah, pretty sure it's all viewer
  • [12:31] Bronson Blackadder: server I mean
  • [12:31] Liisa Runo: happens with default anims, not with custom anims
  • [12:31] Soft Linden: The leg ground-snapping stuff is 100% viewer side - it's a bit of a kludge
  • [12:31] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1654
  • [12:31] JIRA-helper: [#WEB-1654] When Classified Maturity Ratings options are selected in the search options they are not persisting after clicking next.
  • [12:31] Otome Exonar: simple fix, update the LL default animations
  • [12:31] Soft Linden: Same reason if your connection bogs and you go walking down into the ground, you see your feet bend up to your ears after a bit
  • [12:32] Bronson Blackadder: yeah seen that
  • [12:32] Alexa Linden: this seems fixed?
  • [12:32] Otome Exonar: i thought that was jsut an easter egg soft
  • [12:32] Gramma Fiddlesticks: or your head between your legs! =x
  • [12:32] Alexa Linden: searched dog
  • [12:32] Alexa Linden: took off adult
  • [12:32] Otome Exonar: you had to go and tell me thats a bug?
  • [12:32] Alexa Linden: went to next page
  • [12:32] Alexa Linden: adult didn't re-check itself
  • [12:33] Alexa Linden: anyone having a different result?
  • [12:33] Bronson Blackadder: this is way back in may
  • [12:33] Soft Linden: Sounds like import!
  • [12:33] Bronson Blackadder: should probably ask them if its still happening
  • [12:33] Alexa Linden: ack web...
  • [12:33] Alexa Linden: sorry, not viewer
  • [12:34] Alexa Linden: will do and I'll check after the meetings too
  • [12:34] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1818
  • [12:34] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-1818] New Avatar "friction" breaks content
  • [12:34] Techwolf LupindoTechwolf Lupindo watches Alexa todo list spill onto the floor.
  • [12:35] Bronson BlackadderBronson Blackadder bites lip trying not to say a comment for this bug
  • [12:35] Otome Exonar: um... shoudl we ping andrew or simon on this?
  • [12:35] Otome Exonar: it might be expected...
  • [12:35] Alexa Linden: ya, if assigned it should have an internal issue
  • [12:35] Bronson Blackadder: this is havok 4?
  • [12:35] Alexa Linden: so ya, I'll poke Andrew
  • [12:36] Otome Exonar: sorry i dont mean to sound so um... bossy -_-
  • [12:36] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-6209
  • [12:36] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-6209] collision detection failing in some conditions
  • [12:36] Bronson Blackadder: back to the last bug for a second... thats havok 4 beta
  • [12:37] Techwolf Lupindo: wow...another svc bug completlly ignored by LL. This one going to hard to fix due to age...
  • [12:38] Alexa Linden: 6209?
  • [12:38] Bronson Blackadder: 1818
  • [12:38] Techwolf Lupindo: re:1818
  • [12:38] Alexa Linden: oh ok
  • [12:38] Soft Linden: I'd import this and assign it to Maestro
  • [12:38] Soft Linden: He said he was going to get dev input
  • [12:38] Alexa Linden: yup
  • [12:39] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11943
  • [12:39] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-11943] Reference mode can use bounding box center instead of coordinate center
  • [12:39] Soft Linden: Never trust a Linden to do anything on a server issue if they forgot to import it as well - it won't show up on their task list!
  • [12:39] Otome Exonar: lol
  • [12:39] Alexa LindenAlexa Linden nods
  • [12:39] Gramma FiddlesticksGramma Fiddlesticks grins at Soft
  • [12:39] Zep Palen: can I quote you for that?
  • [12:40] Otome Exonar: soft that might have to go on my quote list
  • [12:40] Alexa Linden: this is another reason Jira4 will be sooo much better
  • [12:40] Alexa Linden: no internal vs external junk
  • [12:40] Otome Exonar: of course ill have to resist the urge to trunkate it down >.>
  • [12:40] Soft Linden: Yar, with JIRA4, external assignments mean something
  • [12:40] Zep Palen: is Jira 4 still Atlassian?
  • [12:40] Bronson Blackadder: wow this one doesnt sound like a bug sounds like it can be a tool
  • [12:41] Soft Linden: Still Atlassian.
  • [12:41] Soft Linden: I really think nudging the date on this one makes sense - few votes, and kinda esoteric
  • [12:42] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:42] Soft Linden: Without more votes, would be tough to defend this as the most important thing anyone could be working on right now
  • [12:42] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-15868
  • [12:42] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-15868] Snapshot Freeze-Frame mode not respected by particles, animated textures, and Windlight clouds
  • [12:42] Soft Linden: We already nudged the date on this a couple weeks ago
  • [12:42] Soft Linden: Not sure why it's back already
  • [12:43] Alexa Linden: will update triaged date again
  • [12:44] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-16195
  • [12:44] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-16195] Non-Trans Texture Eyedropper Duplication
  • [12:44] Soft Linden: Wish JIRA filters could include "not triaged in the last 90 days" or such
  • [12:44] Alexa Linden: we can add that in soft
  • [12:44] Alexa Linden: add the LT column
  • [12:44] Soft Linden: Can you? I didn't think the current JIRA respects relative dates
  • [12:45] Soft Linden: Ah gotcha - column, sort order
  • [12:45] Alexa Linden: then add to the agenda settings
  • [12:45] Alexa Linden: yup
  • [12:45] Soft Linden: How/why did I assign this to myself?
  • [12:45] Alexa Linden: lawl
  • [12:45] Bronson Blackadder: eyedropper? wherethe hell is that?
  • [12:45] Otome ExonarOtome Exonar wishes the new jira or forums or someplace would allow for a place to discuss policy conflicts/discrepancies ><
  • [12:46] Bronson Blackadder: and why havent I seen this eyedropper tool?
  • [12:46] Alexa Linden: forums are the best place Otome
  • [12:46] Otome Exonar: they get shut down there ><
  • [12:46] Alexa Linden: jira is more for the devs and not the depts who would change policies
  • [12:47] Alexa Linden: I'll past that long then :)
  • [12:47] Otome Exonar: I know... but this isnt the place for that discussion though
  • [12:47] Alexa Linden: ya the eyedropped always confused me
  • [12:47] Alexa Linden: never did what I was attempting to do
  • [12:47] Alexa Linden: and no longer there :p
  • [12:47] Alexa Linden: so... won't finish?
  • [12:48] Gramma Fiddlesticks: Bronson, eyedropper is on colors window from build/edit/textures tab
  • [12:48] Soft Linden: I don't see the issue on this - it doesn't work for no-copy?
  • [12:48] Bronson Blackadder: ohh t ecrosshairs thing
  • [12:48] Bronson Blackadder: the crosshairs
  • [12:49] Soft Linden: So the issue is that it should create just one texture in there, not 9, yeah
  • [12:49] Soft Linden: Okay, I get this now.
  • [12:49] Soft Linden: Yeah, this should be imported
  • [12:49] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:49] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18652
  • [12:49] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18652] Skin and Sculptie Rendering Issues.
  • [12:49] Soft Linden: I'll clear up the description a little on the last one
  • [12:51] Bronson Blackadder: ok this has the E word in it
  • [12:51] Bronson Blackadder: says it works for 2.0 and snowglobe
  • [12:51] Bronson Blackadder: so this is moot?
  • [12:51] Soft Linden: If it works in 2.x, unfortuantely that's as far as we go.
  • [12:51] Soft Linden: We're not making any more 1.x changes, save possible consideration of security issues
  • [12:52] Bronson Blackadder: next
  • [12:52] Soft Linden: People should get Snowglobe if they want to stay with a LL 1.x viewer
  • [12:52] Otome Exonar: speaking of which can we jump down tot eh verification issue please?
  • [12:52] Alexa Linden: so am I marking as won't finish?
  • [12:52] Soft Linden: Yeah.
  • [12:52] Gramma FiddlesticksGramma Fiddlesticks is using snowglobe as of today!
  • [12:52] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:53] Alexa Linden: post the link Otome?
  • [12:53] Otome Exonar: I really think vwr-3786 shuld get looked at and fixed
  • [12:53] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3786
  • [#VWR-3786] Age verification can't protect content that is more than 50 M above terrain
  • [12:53] Teleport completed from Hippotropolis (240,8,27)
  • [12:53] You just entered a region using a different server version, which may affect performance. View the release notes.
  • [12:54] Teleport completed from LindenWorld Executives (152,81,23)

  • [12:54] Otome Exonar: i know it seems silly but wiht the prevelance of minors on the gird and the merging of teen grid, this one really might be an issue
  • [12:54] Bronson BlackadderBronson Blackadder wonders why he can get on zindra but cant access age verified parcels
  • [12:54] Soft Linden: I don't think that 50m is right - but I don't think it goes all the way up to 4096m either
  • [12:55] Alexa Linden: thoughts soft?
  • [12:55] Bronson Blackadder: this is also a server issue too right?
  • [12:55] Soft Linden: My thought is that I also want a "Made up Statistics" resolution!
  • [12:55] Soft Linden: But yeah - should be SVC
  • [12:55] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:56] Soft Linden: And could be imported as Age Verification Block Doesn't Extend to 4096m
  • [12:56] Soft Linden: The current summary, I don't think is right at all
  • [12:56] Otome ExonarOtome Exonar hopes priority can be bumped a little for this one ?
  • [12:56] Soft Linden: Just like - I think parcel bans only go up to 768m still :P
  • [12:56] Soft Linden: Anyone know if that's been fixed yet?
  • [12:57] Otome Exonar: dunno. dun want to test lol
  • [12:57] Soft Linden: Oh, ban someone from a parcel, and see if they can still fly onto the parcel at like 800 meters up
  • [12:57] Gramma Fiddlesticks: are we gonna be stuck with that parcel ban height limit forever?
  • [12:57] Alexa Linden: verification ya, I've seen that soft
  • [12:57] Otome Exonar: but i would feel better if peoples skyboxes could be verified. especially since thats where the most adult content really is at
  • [12:57] Soft Linden: Gramma - I think it was supposed to be extended to 4096m, but someone missed a magic number hidden in the code
  • [12:58] Gramma Fiddlesticks: ahhhh
  • [12:58] Alexa Linden: ya, I was going to say
  • [12:58] Gramma Fiddlesticks: it does cause issues!
  • [12:58] Alexa Linden: at really high heights, I can fly around the mainland without getting bumped by banlines
  • [12:58] Soft Linden: As far as 4096m being the height limit forever - probably not. At some point, would make sense to move everything to higher precision math. It's lower because of some sloppy viewer precision right now
  • [12:58] Otome Exonar: if youre not gonna extend it to skyboxes might as well take it out
  • [12:58] Soft Linden: Well, regular banlines are just like 200 meters
  • [12:58] Alexa Linden: ok but what is a reasonable height?
  • [12:59] Soft Linden: The explicit ban (vs a generally closed parcel) extends higher
  • [12:59] Alexa Linden: why do you put a skybox at 3k rather than 2k
  • [12:59] Bronson Blackadder: sound like someone needs to make a orb to eject non verified accounts
  • [12:59] Alexa Linden: aside from not being at the same level as neighboring skyboxes
  • [12:59] Zep Palen: thinner air
  • [12:59] Otome Exonar: 3k gets past some of the limits on the older flight assists and teleport scripts
  • [13:00] Alexa Linden: ok valid reason
  • [13:00] Soft Linden: I have a really important 1pm, have to run!
  • [13:00] Alexa Linden: and that's it for today!
  • [13:00] Alexa Linden: I'll get to importing this afternoon
  • [13:00] Alexa Linden: thank you all for joining us today :)
  • [13:00] Alexa Linden: and see you next week!
  • [13:00] Otome Exonar: laters
