Just a quick note, the rules regarding vehicles mentioned on this page are incorrect.  Physical objects are limited to 32 prims.  In the old days the avatars were counted against this total, so 31 + driver is the max.  This rule no longer applies (since sim server version 1.42.2 or something I think it was).  Avatars no longer count, so the 32 prim rule stands regardless of driver and passengers.

With regards "high-prim" attach type vehicles, the high prim element is restricted to 256 prims as per the link-ability rules.
