To Do List

I covered the main topics which came to my mind when I thought about the history of SL, though I couldn't find many information to some of them. Or I found infos but were unable to write much since I wasn't part of it (and am no historian). Topics which I'd still like to integrate are:

Also the content which is already there would need some fleshing out. Especially the later part of the article is just a collection of dates and facts. It's missing some ♥
Would be glad about people helping to tinker with it in order to turn it into a good article :-)

Did a brief update on the early sim names. A lot of possible content to add. Likely too much for a single page! Going ot have to think about ways to break this data down effectively

Opening my heart up to the history of Second Life

Hi SL historians! I´ll take on the task to give the article some love over the next few weeks. I think this page should be more something like a portal. This would also solve the issue with a wiki page becoming way too long :)

So on this page there would be a part about the beginnings (up to Alpha) and then links to the years 2002 - 2009 (each with a brief summary of the years highlights). Each year would get its own page, structured like:

  1. Second Life in 200X
  2. The world
    1. Events
    2. Residents
    3. Technical Changes
  3. Linden Lab
    1. Press releases
    2. News coverage
    3. New Lindens
  4. Images and Videos
