:Ah, you don't like the default skin. You may like the [https://wiki.secondlife.com/w/index.php?title=Main_Page&useskin=nostalgia Nostalgia] skin instead, it doesn't have left side dead space. Personally I use a GM script to make the bar float on the left as I scroll the page, it's a slightly modified version of the Wikipedia script. I believe you can change the skin on the skins tab in [[Special:Preferences my preferences]]. - Our wiki pages currently have some 2 inches of wasted horizontal space on the left below TOOLBOX, all the way down to the bottom of the page. And now, with the not-particularly useful NavBox on the right we are also constraining the horizontal width of the index and frequently causing line wrapping within it. This really makes no sense.
