Thanks again [https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/User:Geneko_Nemeth Geneko], I took a look at those links you sent me and also added them to my Wiki page as they we're very useful (giving you credit for finding of course). I also did the same with the pages [https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/User:Zai_Lynch Zai] provided. So a '''Big''' thanks to both of you. Oh and yeah from now on I'll remember to sign my comments -[[User:Oracle Weatherwax|Oracle Weatherwax]]. Oh and I'll work on a cool signature like Zai's when I get time. :D

Hi, I see you are eager to let the world know yourself with an Awesome userpage, but I suggest you try out the “Show preview” button down there next time , 'k? Cheers! —Geneko Nemeth 12:51, 19 July 2008 (PDT)

Oh, one more thing: unlike other wiki softwares, MediaWiki has the concept of Namespaces. For example all media is in the Image: namespace and all user pages have their User: and User_talk: namespaces. Articles have an anonymous namespace. So if Peyton_Aleixandre is a Second Life Wiki user, her user page would appear at User:Peyton_Aleixandre. But it looks like she hasn't signed up yet (no "User contributions" link in toolbox). --Geneko Nemeth 13:03, 19 July 2008 (PDT)

Pritty new to this

I have had quite a bit of experience editing Wikipedia, but only started using this today after a friend said I should - So Just figuring out how some stuff works - and yeah got the preview button now - although I'm not totally sure why you had to point it out to me - not to be rude but the whole way you worded the message made little sense to me - sounded a little condescending although maybe I read it wrong. As for the Peyton Aleixandre thing - yes it's not made yet - but she is on skype with me right now and wants me to help make hers so I don't really know what the deal with that is either nor what the comment was about - I totally appreciate any help and for that I thank you although I am fairly new to this and am learning  :) —The preceding unsigned comment was added on 20:10, 19 July 2008 by Oracle Weatherwax [edit] Atually I re-read what you said - maybe in misinterpreted a bit - thanks for being helpful it is appreciated.—The preceding unsigned comment was added on 20:14, 19 July 2008 by Oracle Weatherwax

I know I may sound rude by that, I'm not very good at social stuff (e.g. giving suggestions without alerting people). If you can help me on this, that would be great. --Geneko Nemeth 13:32, 19 July 2008 (PDT)
Oh no, I like suggestions - They are appreciated - as i said I just read it wrong the first time - When re-reading I noticed It was just being helpful - so cheers for that :)) —The preceding unsigned comment was added on 20:37, 19 July 2008 by Oracle Weatherwax
Heyas =)
Like you already noticed, it wasn't Geneko's intention to step on your feet. I think the reason he noticed the multiple edits was, that they are all noted in the Recent Changes, which makes the page pretty hard to read. For that reason, Marv compiled a short edit etiquette, called: ediquette.
The namespace question is a lil more tricky. Userpages and everything userspecific (like if you would want to write your personal guide to SL or something) would need to have a User: before the article name, to get it in the right namespace. So for example a users guide would be at User:Oracle_Weatherwax/Oracle's_Guide_To_SL or something. This is, to seperate personal content from community content. So every userpage belongs in that User: namespace too.
If you got questions about the Wiki, have a look at Help:Contents or ask any Mentor Scribe. But having a look at your page, it seems you should become a scribe yourself soon :P Nice one!

Hey Lynch, Thanks for the info. Very helpful and I took a look at the recent changes and YEAH, I get what you mean. I read the page on etiquette. Yeah, that is also helpful - I hadn't really paid much attention to the minor edits check box, so thats so thats something I'll know for the future. As for the LARGE amount of changes a apologize - It is a bit of a mess. But It was mainly due to this being my 1st time using the Wiki - so not fully understanding it and because I had quite a bit to write as I was starting from scratch :s So thanks a lot to both of you for the help and I will keep that in mind as I use the Wiki!! Thanks again :)
