Does anyone know whether marking bots as bots is *required*? I have a bot I'm working on, but it's on an alt account of mine that I occasionally use for non-bot stuff; Do have to set that account as a bot? -- Fred Rookstown 01:24, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

I'd suggest to repost this question in Second Life Answers and/or file a clarification request for this article via the related suggestion form. I think that it's requested but not required (yet). Though a clarification request might be the best to do, so the article becomes updated and everyone profits from the gained knowledge.
