Amon26 Yellowjacket: im working on kind of a fun project. i printed a screenshot from SL onto paper, then used tracing paper to go over the print, thrown the traced image back into photshop and now im digitally shading/coloring the line art
Torley Linden: This hat was originally made by Blue Linden... so I refashioned the colors from monochrome and made it jumbo.

Chase Marellan: Yeah, but once you've got something built you can take the specs and build much more quickly onthe MG.
DJ Jenns: theres already another reference "grid" up
Daedalus Young: and write a script on the main grid that builds your stuff from that info
Grazel Cosmo: there's at least one offline building tool out there, lets you build in the app, it writes out a file, which you cut/past into a notecard and use a script in SL and it recreates teh prims

Torley Linden: A lot of these are great and very "Hey, that'd be the best thing since sliced bread!" features. Some are very difficult to do unless we change major parts of our system, but until they happen (if they do), I know they'll continue to be asked for.

Torley Linden: Some people like Jeffrey Gomez have crafted offline builders that can import into SL... they aren't the easiest to use but things like that need to be done, the pioneering steps, in order for further progress to happen.

Torley Linden: I think it's pretty cool to see such an array of skins for many tastes, some quite affordable, esp. for newcomers... but there's such a gamut. Skins run an amazingly wide price range.

Torley Linden: Yes, reflective water is a great achievement. You can customize it, depending on your graphics card's power... so it reflects EVERYTHING, or just static objects. (E.g., not avatars.)

Hank Rucker: I have an issue. I'm at the $125/month level, and my bank is denying the payments to GlobalCollect every month. It was fine before SL switched to them. I worked my way up the food chain, and found out that it is because GlobalCollect is on VISA's "suspect vendor" list. Is there any chance we could get a processor based in the US for folks with US accounts? It's getting tedious to have to spend a half-hour talking to the fraud department every month.
