Resident Volunteers are participants in our Official Volunteer Program, providing guidance and assistance to Residents across Second Life. This wiki is a resource for Volunteers to both find and share knowledge in a centralized place. In the interest of transparency, it is also accessible to anyone.

Who We Are

Volunteer Groups

Volunteers can take an active part in the program with predefined group roles, or opt-in additional roles. Volunteers also establish committees to help with ongoing or special projects.

Second Life Apprentice Mentors NEW!

Are you a new Apprentice?! Follow these steps to be transferred to the Official Mentor Group!

  • Step One: Attend Volunteer Orientation; scheduling is at the bottom of this article: Volunteer-sponsored Classes
  • Step Two: Shadow an Apprentice Buddy; need more information? Check: Introduction to Shadowing for Apprentices
  • Step Three: Please allow one week to be transferred! In the meantime, explore the wiki to learn more about what Second Life Mentor group has to offer in your helpful endeavors!
