Notecard Versions

As was pointed-out to me by Shiva Aabye, notecard Objectives 2.1 within the Orientation Handout folder contains "Objectives 1.0". This was left as-is in the french translation. I suggest we get rid of any version into the notecards as we have a version-tracking number in the name. Every language set should use the same version-numbering scheme so we can quickly point outdated translations. A global table on the wiki would be a nice tool to check if all languages are in sync after further update of the english set (updated Tao). -- Jeff Kelley 03:59, 19 December 2007 (PST)

Just curious, are these handouts for Volunteers or for newbies ?

If that is the case, then assuming they don't have any super-secret content in, migrate the notecards to the wiki.
  • As demonstrated by the existence of several distinct versions of notecards, notecards are an unsuitable medium for the Orientation Handouts
  • Using the wiki would mean that the Orientation Handouts would always be up-to-date.
    • Unless people started handing out diff links, the latest version of an article would be the one that would be distributed via the wiki link.
