You seem to be a bit touchy about the March 25th, 2009 transcript. I'm probably reading too much into this, I think you should work on something else for a few days, this project seems to have gotten you really stressed. -- Strife <small>(talk|contribs)</small> 01:10, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Ahhh I see what you're saying!  I'm not actually touchy or wound up or stressed or in a not-happy-place or in the midst of a darkly sinister cover-up :)  I just thought that I was getting more "OMG blue, I heard the grids were going to merge!" IMs than usual, so figured it wouldn't hurt to simply close that page with a correction.  But I can see how that could look suspicious to the conspiratorially minded, so I'll restore it and put the disclaimer at the top.  thanks for the suggestion. :No, it's not. It's the userpage of User:Linuxtrek Umaga (who appears to work for your website host Cascadeo and therefor tested stuff at his userpage). The test page is redirecting to his userpage. I'd understand when you'd kill that one. You access it via https://wiki.secondlife.com/w/index.php?title=Test&redirect=no

::So just deletion. I'd not understand a protection of test, since it might become a valuable article, maybe leading to QA tests or something. Sorry, I don't want to appear smart-alecky. It's always hard for me to transfer this kind of stuff in a written environment without sounding snobby or so. And there's always an alarm clock ringing in my head when I spot a deletion or protection.

AR unknown user / object

Hey Blue! I'm trying to build up some kind of Mentors FAQ over here and am looking for help with one question:
In case a particle source (or something else a resident isn't able to locate or knows who's responsible for it) disturbs the peace, I heard it would be common to AR a Linden of the Governance Team instead of the unfindable object / unknown user and state out that it is about an unknown source and not that particular Linden. I couldn't find anything about it in the this knowledge base article. I didn't wanted to publish wrong information at that page so I'd feel better with a confirmation of yours before I'm going to write it down =) Furthermore I'd like to know who's in the GTeam. Since this page says it would be only Daniel Linden... THX in advance and friendly greetings, --Zai Lynch 20:27, 12 March 2008 (PDT)

Hi Zai :) Yes, I often let people know that it's okay to use a Linden name on an Abuse Report if, for one of several reasons, it's not possible to enter a resident's name. The support team will know that I am not, for example, orbiting new residents in the Welcome Area so please feel free to use my name. This will help me reach my goal of being the most oft reported Linden :) -Blue

Hehe, kewl. Yeah people were making jokes that we would need someone called Griefer Linden for that purpose but ok, I'll add your name to the FAQ so you'll become able to reach that goal ^^. THX for the info! c u --Zai Lynch 20:50, 13 March 2008 (PDT)

That's a great idea xD But we already have a griefer Linden...his name is Bub.

I only use your name when you've annoyed me :P I often use Teagan Linden, and at the bottom of my Reports I always put "Blame Teagan!" hehe

VTeam

Heyas Blue! =)
Based on your anouncement at the M³ I removed the VTeam category from your userpage to update the category. It hurt though ;_;

Wound up

You deleted the transcript and then locked it. Deleting the transcript of a meeting... a little odd but it was a public meeting too and then to lock it so it couldn't be recreated? It suggests (screams) that someone is not in a happy place. I'm just saying that it might be a little less stressful with a bit of perspective that only time can give. Or I've totally misread the situation. I can understand you wouldn't want people getting confused by old information but there are better ways than deleting it; the act of deletion can be seen as suspicious behavior. A message at the top saying something to the effect "Portions of this discussion may no longer be accurate, please review later meeting notes." would communicate that it was no longer valid without the need to delete it. Heck you could even annotate the old meeting notes, striking out (putting a line through) content that was no longer true. -- Strife (talk|contribs) 22:49, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
