For some reason this script doesnt work with a 5x5x5 sphere can the author maybe explain ? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Anylyn Hax

Server 1.38.4: llSetBuoyancy(1.05); works just fine on a 5 meter sphere. -- Fred Gandt (talk|contribs) 05:48, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Wind

It is stated that wind can cause the prim/object to drift. Has anyone any evidence or experience of this? I just tried (verified there was wind) and as usual the prim only drifted if pushed in some way (not by wind). -- Fred Gandt (talk|contribs) 05:48, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

It use to cause prim drift. Don't know if it still does. I wouldn't be surprised if they removed it because the alg was behaving badly and causing non-physics enabled prims to drift. -- Strife (talk|contribs) 06:11, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
That makes sense (or as much sense as anything else might). I at some time really must look into reading and understanding source code. I imagine the definitive answer is in there somewhere. Well, at this time (server 1.38.4) it appears that wind does not affect *grins at Mako* a buoyant prim. Thanx Strife. If you had a penny for every time I had said "Thanx Strife" you would be slightly better off :-) -- Fred Gandt (talk|contribs) 06:20, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
