What I would like is a self study course by which I could learn how to do particular things including practice and then do a test to reassure myself that I was competent to use the feature when I needed it.

Just a quick note, the rules regarding vehicles mentioned on this page are incorrect. Physical objects are limited to 32 prims. In the old days the avatars were counted against this total, so 31 + driver was the max. This rule no longer applies (since sim server version 1.42.2 or something I think it was). Avatars no longer count, so the 32 prim rule stands regardless of driver and passengers.

With regards "high-prim" attach type vehicles, the high prim element is restricted to 256 prims as per the link-ability rules.

Self study course for beginners

Hi Gwyneth, As a beginner it is easy to rush the first steps and come a cropper when your lack of basic knowledge comes home to roost. For instance I cannot change my appearance reliably.

What I would like is a self study courses by which I could learn how to do particular things including practice and then do a test to reassure myself that I was competent to use the feature when I needed it.

What is the nearest thing to that in SL.
