I am seeing smaller (based on my observations in the field) systems starting to add themselves to the list, which will soon make it difficult to read. I just have updated the article [[How_to_use_vendors|How to use vendors]] with a current list, and if they all would add themselves to the table, it would become difficult.
So how do we define '''larger vending systems''' so that it is fair and transparent to all vendor manufacturers?

:: I think the article would benefit from some kind of consolidation. How to use a vendor? Table of the "big" vendor systems. Alphabetical list of the known systems. This could be cool.

The orientation of the table needs to be flipped, sorting isn't useful in the current orientation. -- Strife (talk|contribs) 21:10, 24 November 2013 (PST)

From point of sorting: yes. - But from the point of readability and to easily compare the systems: no
Is there no way to sort by rows? --Mo Noel 09:22, 25 November 2013 (PST)

Re: Titan - Jack Hathor's name is no longer findable in search, and his old vendor center location @ Enchant Jaques now appears to be a residential rental. Removed the SLURL from that column as a result. Can't turn up any new location, but I don't know if it's just SL search not working for me or if there's really nothing left inworld. Did some other fact checking while I was logged in. -- Structura Finesmith 05:37, 29 December 2013 (PST)

Re: Titan (again): Still can't find anything inworld. Should I pull the Titan column on my next pass, or does someone know of the current hiding place? Added info on two more vending systems while I was in here. Structura Finesmith 02:35, 1 March 2014 (PST)

Better definition / threshold needed

This page will compare the currently available (as of the last update) versions of some of the larger vending systems with their major features.

I am seeing smaller (based on my observations in the field) systems starting to add themselves to the list, which will soon make it difficult to read. I just have updated the article How to use vendors with a current list, and if they all would add themselves to the table, it would become difficult.

So how do we define larger vending systems so that it is fair and transparent to all vendor manufacturers?

"....some of the larger systems..."

Unfortunately, Wiki tables cannot be side-scrolled like an excel spreadsheet - thankfully, base "monitor" sizes have been increasing over the years. I'd been loosely interpreting "larger" as "actively developed/updated + multiple extra options", and "networked" in the sense of, "user doesn't need to have everything in the same region, and products are not required to go in the vendor itself".
Allomancy isn't in the table because I haven't had time to sit inworld with a copy to play with yet.

I think the article would benefit from some kind of consolidation. You removed the link to How_to_use_vendors, but I think a combination of those two articles, plus additional info, might be good: What is a vendor? Types of vendors. What are NOT vendors? How to use a vendor? Table of the "big" vendor systems. Alphabetical list of the known systems. This could be cool.
