The table for download files has column headings on the first row (Date, Branch, Source, Artwork, Libs, Build Notes), but each cell for Source, Artwork and Libs contain "Source:", "Artwork", and "Libraries" as the first line. :Anyway, the bundles have been deleted from the server by mistake and had to be re-created (see {{jira|SNOW-604}}). The new URLs for Snowglobe 1.4 can be found at http://svn.secondlife.com/trac/linden/browser/projects/2009/snowglobe/trunk/doc/asset_urls.txt. I guess they work for Snowglobe 1.3.2, too. Download of libraries isn't working anymore??? It just leads to http://secondlifegrid.net/programs/open_source "Code Download" there leads back to this Wiki. --Shiva Aabye 00:02, 04 Sept 2007 (CET +1)
- Thanks. Bugging internally. In the future, this sort of thing would best go on the JIRA. --Soft Linden 15:08, 4 September 2007 (PDT)
When the source of libllmozlib will be released? I want it for x86_64. http://ubrowser.com/downloads.php does not want to compile for linux. --terrex 07:34, 19 July 2007 (PDT)
I hope the source for 1.17.2.0 gets released soon. Developing around that crash-on-edit bug is awful. :(
Squash Otoro 16:06, 27 June 2007 (JPN Time)
It would be nice if there was a column indicating which of the downloads can no longer connect to the grids.
Stevex Janus 09:53, 8 June 2007 (PDT)
When the source of 1.16.0.6 will be available for download? Thanks. --Terrex Vieria 05:02, 3 June 2007 (PDT)
- 1.16.0.6 is a small change to add Korean support. For now you can click through the upgrade prompt. 1.17 is already blogged about. If you need the source for Korean support, I suggest to wait for 1.17 sources. Dzonatas Sol 12:33, 3 June 2007 (PDT)
- Ok Thanks, I did not know about that minor change. I will await. --Terrex Vieria 04:37, 7 June 2007 (PDT)
Ok...I'm hoping to find an eager developer to update the table with new releases, because I have a ton of them:
There are three releases:
- "1.13.2.15" off of the Branch_1-13-2 branch (where our official releases come from)-done
- "20070126a" off of the "release" branch -done
- "FL-1.13.2.27" off of the beta-1-14-0 branch (where the First Look viewer comes from)- is 1.13.2.27 does not refer to a valid file.?
Could someone update the table? The file names are entirely predictable based on the source names above. Bonus points for devising a MediaWiki template for making updates easier. -- Rob Linden 15:18, 26 January 2007 (PST)
Slightly Reformatted the table, added a template for doing rows: Template:SourceArchiveRow
Usage: {{SourceArchiveRow|date|branch|version}}
Example: {{SourceArchiveRow|2007-Jan-19|Branch_1-13-2 (r56958), last synced with release at r56659 |1.13.2.12}}
Note: Date can be in several formats, including ~~~~~ which inserts the current date, and time

Time for a formatting refresh?
We're probably due for splitting out a Source download archive page, and perhaps refreshing the format. I'd like to make sure adding new releases is a very low maintenance exercise, but otherwise, there's a lot of latitude to futz. Anyone care to take on a redesign? -- Rob Linden 17:52, 26 November 2007 (PST)

- I'd make a page for each major version and put all the dated snapshots on a dedicated page. The current versions would be listed on this page. All the other pages would be nested pages. For example: Source downloads/1.18 -- Strife Onizuka 22:46, 26 November 2007 (PST)
Comments on table format

I have a feeling that it is a waste of table space. A better format may be something like:
Date | Branch | Source | Artwork | Libraries | Build Notes |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
ver 1.XX.YY(2009-May-02) |
viewer-1.XX.YY (md5sums) | Windows (CRLF) Mac/Linux (LF) |
All platforms | Windows Mac Linux |
This entry is just an example. |
I know we need to update Template:SourceDownloadRowSnapshot to change the table format, but I think it's better to discuss this issue here. Thoughts?
