What is a protected route?
Protected routes are mainland routes owned by Governor Linden and maintained by DPW (Department of Public Works). They are to allow residents to travel the mainlands with various types of vehicles. They are open to all residents.
What are they like?
There are various types, listed below:
- Roads
- Waterways
- Greenlanes
- Walking routes
- Ski runs
- Railways
