Mesh is in the early stages of being enabled on agni, and is not generally available there yet. For now, you can test it on several mesh-enabled regions on aditi as follows:
Mesh is enabled on the entire Second Life main grid. To try it out:

Getting started

Mesh is enabled on the entire Second Life main grid. To try it out:

  1. Download the Second Life Viewer from Second Life's Downloads page.
  2. Install and run the Viewer.
  3. Go to one of the mesh sandboxes to check out mesh content other Residents have been working on: Mesh regions.
Note that the various sandboxes may get overcrowded with Residents and slow down performance. If you see objects that look like a lot of flat triangles, try moving to another region.
  4. See what people have been working on, or try uploading some sample content of your own!

KBcaution.png Important: Uploading mesh content costs Linden dollars. To try uploading meshes without affecting your main grid L$ balance, try it out on the Aditi beta grid instead.

Here's how:

  1. Import your SL account to Aditi (see Updating Your Account on Aditi for instructions).
  2. Enable the grid selection dropdown on the Second Life login screen in Me->Preferences->Advanced->Show Grid Selection or by typing CTRL+SHIFT+G.
Note: You may need to enable the Advanced menu by pressing Ctrl+Shift+D
  3. In grid selection, choose the Aditi beta grid.
  4. Your account on the beta grid has its own L$ balance, so Linden dollars earned and spent on Aditi do not affect your main grid L$ balance.
