Template:Billing Nav The unit of trade in Second Life is called the Linden dollar or L$. Residents use Linden dollars to pay for goods and services provided by other Residents. You can purchase Linden dollar most easily using Paypal, Mastercard and Visa on the LindeX.

LindeX: the official Linden dollar exchange

The LindeX is the official virtual exchange of Second Life run by Linden Lab where you can

• Buy Linden dollars for the current market rate
• Make limit buy offers in which you specify the amount of Linden dollars and your desired exchange rate.
• Sell Linden dollars.

All LindeX transactions are subject to transaction fees.

The LindeX accepts transactions in the following currencies:

If you do not have Paypal or a major U.S. credit card account in USD, there are a number of L$ resellers. This site will connect you with a reseller supporting the currency and payment system most convenient to you.
