- [12:02] Bridie Linden: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Monday_Agenda
- [12:02] Harleen Gretzky: Hi Soft
- [12:02] Squirrel Wood: Hellos hellos hellos!
- [12:02] Soft Linden: Hey hey hey
- [12:02] Harleen Gretzky: Hi Bridie
- [12:02] Gordon Wendt: Soft, I was told you might be the one to ask, do you know if there's a timeline on llTextbox being publicly implemented?
- [12:03] Bridie Linden: is sitting on cool kids side...not sure i qualify
- [12:03] Gordon Wendt: the LIndens never sit next to me :(
- [12:03] Phillip Vought: Hello all
- [12:03] Gordon Wendt: hi Phillip
- [12:03] BlueWall Slade: Hi
- [12:03] Bridie Linden: Shall we dance? https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Monday_Agenda
- [12:03] Kerry Giha: Hello Phillip
- [12:04] Phillip Vought: May I have 1 item at the end of the agenda please
- [12:04] Bridie Linden: Or Soft, did you want to answer Gordon's question?
- [12:04] Bridie Linden: Sure Phillip, what is it?
- [12:04] Gordon Wendt: He's a Linden, I thought it was against the rules for you guys to answer our questions :)
- [12:04] Soft Linden: Gordon - if there's a JIRA on that, it would help. I don't have specific knowledge of that.
- [12:05] Phillip Vought: VWR-10755
- [12:05] Gordon Wendt: nm Soft
- [12:05] Bridie Linden: ok will do Phillip
- [12:05] Phillip Vought: Thanks :)
- [12:05] Bridie Linden: Ok, then, first up
- [12:05] Bridie Linden: SVC-2941[c
- [12:05] Diva Canto: Bridie: are you in charge of the meeting? Sorry for asking, but I've never been to one of these before, so I don't know how it works.
- [12:06] Bridie Linden: Yes Diva, I'll be leading the charge today
- [12:06] Bridie Linden: Soft is our tech expert
- [12:06] Bridie Linden: Alexa helps w/documentation/JIRA/repros
- [12:06] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2941
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: we do a rock, scissors, paper to see who does what Diva ;)
- [12:07] Soft Linden: Whump has already commented on this. I'd import and hand directly to the OGP folks
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: can do
- [12:07] Diva Canto: hehe, cool. So that first JIRA is related to the work we are doing in opensim, OGP and the hypergrid
- [12:07] Bridie Linden: nods to Soft and Diva
- [12:07] Diva Canto: the OGP folks, whump specifically, said that they don't have resources to fix it
- [12:08] Diva Canto: it seems like its a really easy one to at least take a second lok at, and see what the problem is
- [12:08] Gordon Wendt: Looks like he reopened though because it's effecting other things than that one case
- [12:08] BlueWall Slade: has anyone looked at it?
- [12:08] Gordon Wendt: according to whump
- [12:08] Bridie Linden: Let's ping whump on this
- [12:09] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:09] Bridie Linden: Shall we move on to the wonderful world of patches?
- [12:09] Bridie Linden: VWR-7896[c
- [12:09] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7896
- [12:09] Alexa Linden: so this was one that made me think....
- [12:09] Gellan Glenelg: already imported
- [12:09] Alexa Linden: I thought in the old days of SL
- [12:09] Bridie Linden: Ah, i see that Gellan
- [12:10] Diva Canto: ok, if yo uguys could keep the conversation up between the viewerteam an dthe OGP team that would be great
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: LMs you created were one color
- [12:10] Soft Linden: So this one would be won't fix -- consensus was that this is a little known feature, and it's fragile
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: and the ones you got as part of a purchase were another
- [12:10] Soft Linden: DEV-22137 internally was created to go ahead and kill the feature.
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:10] Soft Linden: (It was broken a loooong time with virtually nobody noticed!)
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:10] Bridie Linden: thx Soft
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:11] Bridie Linden: Hi Prospero!
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: Hey Prospero :D
- [12:11] Bridie Linden: Agenda for you
- [12:11] Bridie Linden: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Monday_Agenda
- [12:11] Prospero Linden: Hey
- [12:11] Harleen Gretzky: Hi Prospero
- [12:11] Bridie Linden: We're on...
- [12:11] Bridie Linden: VWR-10728[c
- [12:11] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10728
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: nice comment Gordon :)
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: thanks
- [12:12] Soft Linden: We skipped 10759?
- [12:12] Gordon Wendt: huh?
- [12:12] Bridie Linden: oh weird
- [12:12] Soft Linden: VWR-10759 was the previous one - it's valid and a super quickie, take longer to just put it in than to triage it.
- [12:12] Bridie Linden: they were in a diff order before i reloaded
- [12:12] Gordon Wendt: yes sorry, I did a change to the order just before the meeting
- [12:13] Gordon Wendt: I pinged it here but you Lindens hadn't shown up yet, sorry
- [12:13] Soft Linden: If you want to import VWR-10759 and assign to me directly, that's easiest
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: ok soft
- [12:13] Bridie Linden: yea soft!
- [12:13] Soft Linden: Ditto VWR-10728. Yikes, nice catch.
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: will do soft
- [12:13] Aimee Trescothick: :D nice bit of logic
- [12:13] Soft Linden: Import and hand to me
- [12:14] Soft Linden: Thanks :)
- [12:14] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:14] Bridie Linden: Onto the Misc pool?
- [12:14] Bridie Linden: VWR-7439[c
- [12:14] Gellan Glenelg: already imported
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:15] Bridie Linden: Hmm, reopened internally
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: and ya, it's listed but does look like a dup of VWR-10725
- [12:15] Soft Linden: Last comment was 1.20 era. It would be nice to know if it still happens
- [12:15] Bridie Linden: Would be good to try with 1.20, 1.21 and 1.22 RC
- [12:16] Gordon Wendt: Bridie, the original on the list was a dupe of this and one of several so this still seems to be an issue that pops up for at least more than a few people
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: I can ask
- [12:16] Harleen Gretzky: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10725 was the same issue but 1.21
- [12:16] Soft Linden: Can we needs-more-info on this and the snapshot semi-dupe, asking if it happens in 1.22?
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:16] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:16] Bridie Linden: great, ty
- [12:17] Soft Linden: Ah, hold up
- [12:17] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [12:17] Bridie Linden: yes?
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: holds
- [12:17] Bridie Linden: freezes
- [12:17] Soft Linden: The one Harleen points to is from just this week and shows the same problem
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: glod sarts for Harleen then :D
- [12:17] Harleen Gretzky: :)
- [12:17] Gordon Wendt: That's the one that was originally on the agenda but closed and replaced as a dupe
- [12:17] Soft Linden: We can just leave those be. I'll link to the new dupe internally to point out that it's still happening.
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: but still says 1.21?
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: add a last traiged date only then?
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: triaged*
- [12:18] Soft Linden: Please :)
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:18] Bridie Linden: Ok, now onto:
- [12:18] Bridie Linden: # VWR-7468[c
- [12:19] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7468
- [12:19] Gellan Glenelg: logged against 1.19 - was that before statistics had its own floater? Does not repro for me on 1.21
- [12:19] Gordon Wendt: This is the one that kept being just after the end of the meetings each week and finally is up. The case of the person fooling around with the debug settings and then saying something breaks because they're fooling with the debug settings
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:19] Bridie Linden: resolve 'don't do that'
- [12:19] Bridie Linden: :)
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: hahahaha
- [12:19] Soft Linden: Ha :)
- [12:19] Phillip Vought: close as wontfix?
- [12:19] Aimee Trescothick: yeah, shouldn't be a problem now anyway
- [12:19] Gordon Wendt: I've been tempted each time I see it to resolve with a snarky remark but figured I'd give one of you Lindens the pleasure
- [12:20] Soft Linden: Well, smllest priority unless it gets some votes.
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: :P
- [12:20] Bridie Linden: what Soft said
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: expected behavior?
- [12:20] Soft Linden: It's a valid bug, but king of the Not Our Biggest Problem Right Now(tm)
- [12:20] Gellan Glenelg: can't repro?
- [12:20] Aimee Trescothick: can make the window wider now anyway which should stop it
- [12:20] Bridie Linden: Gellan said he couldn't repro
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: that sounds better Gellan
- [12:20] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: can't repro it is!
- [12:21] Bridie Linden: FTW!
- [12:21] Bridie Linden: Next
- [12:21] Bridie Linden: VWR-3706[c
- [12:21] Prospero Linden: Hrm... I thought that stats was already a floater back in may, but I could be remembering wrong
- [12:21] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3706
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: this is an old one too
- [12:21] Gordon Wendt: This one seems to be an issue essentially blocking enterprise installs
- [12:21] Gordon Wendt: why it isn't higher priority and hasn't gotten votes is beyond me
- [12:21] Phillip Vought: Well stats floats.. but half of it is still narfed ;)
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: go vote Gordon!!
- [12:22] Gordon Wendt: ok I will :)
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: feel the power!
- [12:22] Prospero Linden: Let's import.
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:22] Soft Linden: Because lab administrators are too lazy to vote >:( Grar!
- [12:22] Bridie Linden: Hee
- [12:22] Prospero Linden: Are Lindens allowed to vote on pJIRA issues?
- [12:22] Gordon Wendt: Anyone object ot me raising the priority slightly before you import?
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: I do
- [12:22] Soft Linden: This should probably go to James if he's doing the other installer rework stuff
- [12:22] Prospero Linden: Are bot farms allowed to vote?
- [12:22] Gordon Wendt: it seems like this should be a major
- [12:23] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:23] Soft Linden: I'd hold out for more votes before bumping priority, myself
- [12:23] Bridie Linden: And before importing, IMHO
- [12:23] Gordon Wendt: I won't bump it then but you of all people should know soft that not all high voted issues are imported and not all important issues are high voted
- [12:24] Soft Linden: Hrm. I'd still import since it's a command line option that's not doing what it says - effectively broken.
- [12:24] Soft Linden: It's not just a feature request.
- [12:24] Prospero Linden: Yeah... and it's a serious problem for the few who have it.
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: importing
- [12:24] Bridie Linden: is convinced
- [12:24] Bridie Linden: and thus over-ruled!
- [12:24] Phillip Vought: and as an ex-enterprise sysadmin, I know how this could drive someone nuts
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: power to the people
- [12:24] Bridie Linden: indeed!
- [12:24] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [12:24] Bridie Linden: VWR-10746[c
- [12:25] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10746
- [12:25] Gellan Glenelg: hmm. only a problem for one person/group? contact support?
- [12:25] Soft Linden: If this is just an issue with the one group, I'd push.. ya
- [12:25] Soft Linden: support
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: the group owner demored her?
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: demoted*
- [12:25] Prospero Linden: I wonder if this was a mistake of somebody accidentally demoting themselves during the changes
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:26] Bridie Linden: hmms
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: ya, I've done that too
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:26] Soft Linden: Possible, or could be a corrupted group. Support would be able to tell us if it's not working right and get an engineer to tweak the group's db entries
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: ya, this is more of a support issue
- [12:26] Bridie Linden: Let's add a comment and send 'em to support
- [12:26] Bridie Linden: Moving right along...
- [12:26] Bridie Linden: SVC-3445[c
- [12:26] Soft Linden: But if we import an issue affecting only one user and hand it to core, darkness will descend.
- [12:27] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3445
- [12:27] Gordon Wendt: As much as I dislike the reporter of the issue it seems like she does have a point
- [12:27] Gordon Wendt: would be nice to have more info on which viewer she's using though
- [12:27] Aimee Trescothick: viewer shouldn't affect that
- [12:27] Soft Linden: Hmm - is llTakeControls exclusive? Only one object gets a given control?
- [12:28] Squirrel Wood: per script ?
- [12:28] Soft Linden: Er yeah, only one script?
- [12:28] Squirrel Wood: nope
- [12:28] Squirrel Wood: definitely not exclusive
- [12:28] Squirrel Wood: otherwise many aos and flight assists could not coexist
- [12:28] Soft Linden: darling's a good scripter from what I know. It wouldn't be unrealistic to ask for a simple repro script
- [12:28] Gordon Wendt: looks like it's a hud effecting a vehicle though so that's 1 script effecting 1 or more scripts in an entirely different object
- [12:29] Bridie Linden: let's ask
- [12:29] Bridie Linden: and ask for viewer info/enviro
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:29] Soft Linden: Viewer shouldn't affect this. The control taking is done 100% server-side
- [12:29] Harleen Gretzky: MONO only too
- [12:29] Bridie Linden: ah
- [12:29] Squirrel Wood: when you release controls in the viewer it releases them *all*.
- [12:29] Soft Linden: Harleen - darling's issue is mono-only?
- [12:30] Prospero Linden: If this is Mono-only, then it's something new and broken...
- [12:30] Gordon Wendt: Harleen, I'll put one more tick mark on my blackboard showing each mono related scripting glitch
- [12:30] Harleen Gretzky: The title suggests it
- [12:30] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:30] Bridie Linden: Let's see if we can get a repro or object from Darling
- [12:30] Gordon Wendt: She has a repro but it's a broad one
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: I can ask her to drop one on me
- [12:30] Soft Linden: Also please ask if Darling's confirmed it's mono-only
- [12:31] Prospero Linden: Gordon : that must be a big blackboard....
- [12:31] Gordon Wendt: "A simple way to reproduce it is to call llTakeControls() from a HUD while using a vehicle. The vehicle controls will freeze."
- [12:31] Soft Linden: That seems like a funny thing to break with mono.
- [12:31] Prospero Linden: What needs to be MONO? VEhicle? HUD? oth?
- [12:31] Prospero Linden: s/oth/both/
- [12:31] Bridie Linden: Let's keep moving...
- [12:31] Bridie Linden: VWR-10713[c
- [12:32] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10713
- [12:32] Gellan Glenelg: need to know if this is RC0 or RC1
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: ya, needs more info
- [12:32] Gordon Wendt: I'd suggest asking for system/viewer stats
- [12:32] Gordon Wendt: if nothing else exact viewer version and exact system type/version
- [12:33] Soft Linden: If it is happening, it's probably happening owing to the (online) suffix being added/removed to that person's calling card, and that mechanism will likely go away soon
- [12:33] Bridie Linden: thinks I may have just observed it...
- [12:33] Gordon Wendt: although it would surprise me if it was just an xp vs vista behavior from what I've seen in terms of those types of glitches
- [12:33] Bridie Linden: is on mac
- [12:33] Gordon Wendt: Soft, lol, you realize that one line is going to give certain hysterical bloggers weeks of material right there :)
- [12:34] Gordon Wendt: Soft Linden confirms removal of key feature :)
- [12:34] Prospero Linden: missed what Gordon is talking about
- [12:34] Bridie Linden: Let's ping Oskar and Ramzi on this one
- [12:34] Prospero Linden: Oh! The calling card thing :)
- [12:34] Soft Linden: Probability of removing the (online) status indicators from calling cards, since they just duplicate the information in the friendlist.
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:35] Phillip Vought: no more spying on people that dont love me anymore? :( :(
- [12:35] Soft Linden: It's another spaghetti connection to the inventory system, which is volatile because of all those spaghetti do-everything connections.
- [12:35] Soft Linden: Actually, you don't see (online) unless they're a friend. So they're not even useful for jilted stalkers.
- [12:35] Prospero Linden: only realized within the last few weeks that calling cards had online status in it... he'd basically never opened that folder, just used the frieds list. Until he realized that if he wanted to sort his friends into subfolders, calling cards was the way to do it....
- [12:36] Soft Linden: Yis. few people realize it's even happening, despite the zillions of extra db queries it causes.
- [12:36] Bridie Linden: yikes
- [12:36] Prospero Linden: is all for eliminating that feature
- [12:36] Bridie Linden: +1
- [12:36] Harleen Gretzky: You can also create conference calls using those subfolders
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: I do that
- [12:36] Phillip Vought: sure.. just dont elminate the cards themselves
- [12:36] Soft Linden: Right, we wouldn't lose the cards. Just the indicators.
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: agreed!
- [12:36] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:37] Prospero Linden: All of which may or may not be relevant to this JIRA :)
- [12:37] Gordon Wendt: until someone bugs you guys enough to revamp the friends list that's the only way to do sortable friends
- [12:37] Soft Linden: Anyway - I think that's in Rx now. No need to chat about it here - can catch an Rx meeting. :)
- [12:37] Squirrel Wood: still wants a "last online" date field in the friends list. Its already there for groups so shouldn't be much of a problem, eh? :p
- [12:37] Soft Linden: For this issue, would won't fix
- [12:37] Gordon Wendt: next?
- [12:37] Bridie Linden: Next!
- [12:37] Prospero Linden: VWR-10483
- [12:37] Bridie Linden: VWR-10483[c
- [12:38] Squirrel Wood: brb
- [12:38] Prospero Linden: I think I've seen this, and I think I've been annoyued by it.
- [12:38] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10483
- [12:38] Gordon Wendt: didn't we do this last week?
- [12:38] Soft Linden: This is a way dupe, ya.
- [12:38] Gordon Wendt: or was that just somethign similar
- [12:38] Soft Linden: A dupe came up last week, that was resolved as a dupe of yet another.
- [12:38] Prospero Linden: Heh
- [12:38] Prospero Linden: That's why this doesn't have any votes. People vote with their dupes
- [12:39] Bridie Linden: can someone find/link the dupe?
- [12:39] Gordon Wendt: Bridie, to find the original means stepping back 5 or 6 dupes I think
- [12:39] Soft Linden: jas, finding
- [12:39] Gordon Wendt: there's actually dupes of dupes of dupes on this one
- [12:39] Gordon Wendt: and they keep showing up
- [12:40] Bridie Linden: Ok, we can move on and update later
- [12:40] Bridie Linden: VWR-3643[c
- [12:40] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3643
- [12:40] Gellan Glenelg: old!
- [12:40] Gordon Wendt: needs more info?
- [12:40] Prospero Linden: I haven't seent this myself.... when I get that throttle, the stuff still goes to where I want it to go
- [12:41] Bridie Linden: can't repro?
- [12:41] Gordon Wendt: oh, must have slipped through my old issues filter
- [12:41] Prospero Linden: Either more info or can't repro
- [12:41] Phillip Vought: This was created around the time of much asset server madness
- [12:41] Prospero Linden: Unless others have seen the problem
- [12:41] Soft Linden: The build tool focus issue could be linked to DEV-24200 internally which sadly didn't get a link back to last week's pJIRA. Bagh.
- [12:42] Bridie Linden: votes for 'can't repro'
- [12:42] Bridie Linden: thx soft
- [12:42] Bridie Linden: I can dig more later
- [12:42] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [12:42] Bridie Linden: VWR-3613[c
- [12:42] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3613
- [12:42] Gordon Wendt: This si the one I referenced before the meeting
- [12:42] Gellan Glenelg: not sure about "black", but expected behaviour?
- [12:42] Aimee Trescothick: tiz annoying, but normal
- [12:42] Gordon Wendt: *is
- [12:43] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:43] Object: Touched.:
- [12:43] Prospero Linden: They look grey to me
- [12:43] Object: Touched.:
- [12:43] Prospero Linden: Light grey
- [12:43] Object: Touched.:
- [12:43] Gellan Glenelg: yeah
- [12:43] Aimee Trescothick: mm, yeah, the black bit is not normal
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: black to me
- [12:43] Object: Touched.:
- [12:43] Soft Linden: Shows up white to me
- [12:43] Object: Touched.:
- [12:43] Object: Touched.:
- [12:43] Object: Touched.:
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: ok now white....
- [12:43] Prospero Linden: Whether they look grey or white depends on the angle I'm looking at them
- [12:43] Soft Linden: For anyone where they show up black, are they also square, or just tinted?
- [12:43] Object: Touched.:
- [12:44] Gellan Glenelg: this iss is also dec 07
- [12:44] Object: Touched.:
- [12:44] Prospero Linden: This may be cognitive science
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: hahahhaa
- [12:44] Object: Touched.:
- [12:44] Object: Touched.:
- [12:44] Prospero Linden: Or perhaps they're responding to the sun?
- [12:44] Gordon Wendt: I think this is while the object is still loading, that's what this one is about
- [12:44] Gellan Glenelg: yeah - if they're square, texture hasn't rezzed
- [12:44] Object: Touched.:
- [12:44] Prospero Linden: Must not be fullbright particles
- [12:44] Gordon Wendt: so it's before the particles are loaded
- [12:44] Gordon Wendt: so expected behavior?
- [12:44] Object: Touched.:
- [12:44] Gellan Glenelg: so, depends which client you're on as to whether they're grey/black/white
- [12:44] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:44] Object: Touched.:
- [12:44] Object: Touched.:
- [12:44] Object: Touched.:
- [12:45] Object: Touched.:
- [12:45] Prospero Linden: And the angle relative to the sun
- [12:45] Object: Touched.:
- [12:45] Prospero Linden: expecteed behavior, I think
- [12:45] Object: Touched.:
- [12:45] Gordon Wendt: to repro you really need to try to touch something while the object and terrain is still loading preferrably in a laggy environment
- [12:45] Gordon Wendt: so you get the unrezzed particles
- [12:45] Object: Touched.:
- [12:45] Soft Linden: Can we needs-more-info and point out that particles should exist, but ask for viewer info if they show up as other than gray puffs?
- [12:45] Bridie Linden: +1 Soft
- [12:45] Harleen Gretzky: Always thought it was the same color as your color effects
- [12:45] Prospero Linden: Evidently not
- [12:46] Prospero Linden: Or maybe... it's my *alt* that has green color effects, not me
- [12:46] Prospero Linden: goes to change that
- [12:46] Bridie Linden: Ok,, next
- [12:46] Bridie Linden: VWR-8488[c
- [12:46] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8488
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: reboot required?
- [12:46] Soft Linden: I've seen this
- [12:46] Gordon Wendt: this a UI issue or a deeper issue?
- [12:46] Soft Linden: I don't think you need a fresh install - turning off music in preferences and then reenabling gets it too
- [12:47] Soft Linden: Likely just a UI issue
- [12:47] Gordon Wendt: bounce to UI team then?
- [12:47] Bridie Linden: Sounds good
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:47] Gordon Wendt: AAAHHH!! BURN IT!! SEND IT TO HELL
- [12:47] Bridie Linden: NExt
- [12:47] Bridie Linden: VWR-6768[c
- [12:47] Gordon Wendt: oops, didn't mean to hit that gesture
- [12:47] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6768
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: must have that Gordon!
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: hahaha
- [12:48] Aimee Trescothick: hmm, works the opposite way round for me
- [12:48] Bridie Linden: Sure Gordon, sure :P
- [12:48] Gordon Wendt: gave you homerburnhell.
- [12:48] Gellan Glenelg: terrain tool has changed since 1.19. still a problem?
- [12:49] Soft Linden: This is not happening for me in trunk/ (release)
- [12:49] Prospero Linden: cannot repro, sounds like
- [12:49] Soft Linden: Er - it's not happening as a bug. It's working as it should.
- [12:49] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:49] Aimee Trescothick: uh, sound like misunderstanding
- [12:49] Kerry Giha: Works for me
- [12:50] Aimee Trescothick: large medium small is the brush size
- [12:50] Aimee Trescothick: not the selection?
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: you have to choose an action first
- [12:50] Harleen Gretzky: Wasn't happening for me either, the OP seemed confused on what apply to selection and the bulldozer tool are also
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: it's always been that way as far as I can remember
- [12:50] Bridie Linden: So Phillip wanted to talk about https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10755
- [12:51] Bridie Linden: new client allows multiple logins of the same avatar
- [12:51] Bridie Linden: which has been imported...
- [12:51] Soft Linden: 10755 is known and imported, core is looking.
- [12:51] Phillip Vought: cool.. I'll close
- [12:51] Aimee Trescothick: I'd say it's a UI issue that there's not a clear distinction between use of brush, and land selection
- [12:51] Gordon Wendt: I challenged whetehr that was actually a bug
- [12:51] Gordon Wendt: *whether
- [12:51] Phillip Vought: it causes all sorts of problems Gordon
- [12:51] Bridie Linden: No need to close, Phillip
- [12:51] Phli Foxchase: I love this one !
- [12:52] Gordon Wendt: although it may be vaguely related to the ghosting issues which is that sims seem to have trouble staying totally synched with the master system and each other
- [12:52] Gordon Wendt: the master system being the presence system
- [12:52] Phillip Vought: this is the cause of the "appearing at old location" problems too
- [12:53] Phillip Vought: als attachments not showing correctly
- [12:53] Phillip Vought: and I'm sure a host of other problems
- [12:54] Phillip Vought: There's a related SVC, but its not as clear as the VWR
- [12:54] Gordon Wendt: I think all the Lindens just went afk :)
- [12:54] Alexa Linden: did not
- [12:54] Prospero Linden: is still here
- [12:54] Prospero Linden: was testing MISC-1952 with an alt
- [12:54] Gellan Glenelg: MISC-1952: I guess public access was disabled. Wouldn't be surprised if it was intentional
- [12:55] Gordon Wendt: Figured as much but didn't want to remove from the listings in case it was something else
- [12:55] Gordon Wendt: wow, that's the whole list then
- [12:55] Prospero Linden: w00t
- [12:55] Bridie Linden: wow!
- [12:55] Prospero Linden: PARTY!
- [12:55] Phillip Vought: SVC-3417 the related ticket is imported as DEV-23924.. so I can close?
- [12:55] Bridie Linden: (dance)
- [12:55] Prospero Linden: Halleluiah!
- [12:56] Bridie Linden: Phillip, no, don't close -- we (try) to keep internal issues in sync w/public issues
- [12:56] Bridie Linden: Thx all!
