Feature Highlights

  • Voice in Basic Mode - In this Beta we've added voice to Basic mode, to make communicating with friends even easier! To speak, just click the microphone icon next to the chat bar. To select input/output devices, or to adjust your voice volume, click the arrow button next to the microphone icon.

Known Issues

    

Possible DNS Error on Login for OSX

  • EXP-687 Second Life viewer will not work on my laptop. A possible workaround is to add the free Google DNS servers to your network configuration...
    • Open 'System Preferences' -> 'Network' -> 'Advanced...' -> 'DNS'
    • Click "+" and type 8.8.8.8
    • Click "+" and type 8.8.4.4
    • Close 'System Preferences'
    • Restart Second Life
