- [15:05] Cummere Mayo: win xp
- [15:05] Soap Clawtooth: I sent a folder on OSX.5 yesterday - didn't have a problem.

- [15:07] Aimee Trescothick: it's repoing for me on OSX
- [15:07] Soap Clawtooth: throws an unsuspected snowball at Enus. - Told you i'd get you one day
- [15:07] Bambers Linden: Next up: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8007
- [15:07] Franziska Bosatsu: greetings all
- [15:07] Soap Clawtooth: chuckles.
- [15:07] Bambers Linden: Aimee - please add your environment and comment if you could :)
- [15:07] Bambers Linden: Viewer crashes while editing prim contents
- [15:08] Soap Clawtooth: Again, no problem with this one on OS X.5
- [15:08] Soap Clawtooth: (as far as i know)
- [15:08] Bambers Linden: any XPers ever seen this?
- [15:08] Enus Linden: (hi gellan)
- [15:08] Aimee Trescothick: I'll try again in the standard viewer later, I'm in my own heavily patched one at the mo, but best to make sure
- [15:08] Alexa Linden: Hey Gellen :D
- [15:08] Aimee Trescothick: *shouldn't affected that
- [15:08] Cummere Mayo: ive seen it happen to others while i was watching
- [15:09] Cummere Mayo: but never tired myself
- [15:09] Gellan Glenelg: I've not seen this (I'm on XP0
- [15:09] Cummere Mayo: however absed on comments alone i vote import
- [15:09] Bambers Linden: I'm reluctant to clicky-clicky-boom right now
- [15:09] Bambers Linden: :)
- [15:09] Alexa Linden: as am I
- [15:09] Bambers Linden: I agree Cummere
- [15:10] Soap Clawtooth: :O
- [15:10] Soap Clawtooth: Dang!
- [15:10] Soap Clawtooth: ^^
- [15:10] Bambers Linden: Alexa, would you mark for import? (unless there are any objections of course)
- [15:10] Alexa Linden: k
- [15:10] Bambers Linden: shouts: Next up: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11064
- [15:11] Bambers Linden: often, windows task bar hangs for a minute, then clicked buttons all flash
- [15:11] Bambers Linden: Has anyone seen this before?
- [15:11] Bambers Linden: (or can repro now?)
- [15:12] Soap Clawtooth: Not personally. Could it be the GPU spazzing out?
- [15:12] Alexa Linden: ya but for me it's any program - wow or sl
- [15:12] Cummere Mayo: ive seen it but not convnced its an sl issue
- [15:12] Alexa Linden: and I knwo it's my computer
- [15:12] Enus Linden: erm, sounds like a freeze, followed by user input, followed by the computer doing what it was told
- [15:12] Cummere Mayo: or at least not soley an sl issue
- [15:12] Ciaran Laval: Sounds like a Windows crash type thing more than a Second Life issue, might be linked to the TP bug that seems to be a router issue
- [15:12] Cummere Mayo: ild mark last triage and ask for vid repos
- [15:12] Alexa Linden: I agree
- [15:12] Bambers Linden: good call.
- [15:13] Alexa Linden: you would also need to know if other programs are running, etc
- [15:13] Soap Clawtooth: The TP bug isn't a router issue, im on a hardline 20mb connection and i still get it. I have one of the best connections you can get in the UK, so....
- [15:13] Cummere Mayo: yep
- [15:13] Alexa Linden: I know that can add to this problem for me
- [15:13] Ciaran Laval: I haven't had it since I changed my router Soap :) Maybe I got lucky
- [15:13] Soap Clawtooth: Well i can't change my hardline, lol
- [15:13] Bambers Linden: so mark for more info - including other running programs and possibly vid capture
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: yup yup
- [15:14] Garn Conover: Boo!
- [15:14] Cummere Mayo: thats my vote bambers
- [15:14] Soap Clawtooth: Garn, old bean :)
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: Hell Garn!
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: Garn!
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: hey*
- [15:14] Bambers Linden: wheee! Next up
- [15:14] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11282
- [15:14] Garn Conover: Been there already Alexa
- [15:14] Bambers Linden: Script forgets Mono/Running checks when dropped into Prim from Folder
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: hahahaha
- [15:14] Garn Conover: i can repo
- [15:14] Bambers Linden: hi garn\
- [15:14] Garn Conover: or is this mine? lol i cant remember
- [15:14] Cummere Mayo: wait did we skip one?
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: no
- [15:15] Bambers Linden: don't think so Cummere
- [15:15] Alexa Linden: not yours garn
- [15:15] Alexa Linden: you did comment though
- [15:15] Bambers Linden: of course we did cummere - I'm just learning....
- [15:15] Aimee Trescothick: yeah we did i think
- [15:15] Bambers Linden: let's go back to https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7278
- [15:15] Bambers Linden: Save Script dialog opens when choosing the File pull-down menu while the LSL editor window has focus
- [15:16] Cummere Mayo: lol sorry i jsut confuse easily if we skip around
- [15:16] Bambers Linden: (with my apologies, we shall forge onward)
- [15:16] Aimee Trescothick: repos here still
- [15:16] Garn Conover: im a little annoyed, i updated to RC5 and wipped my personal skin :(
- [15:16] Bridie Linden: wipped?
- [15:16] Cummere Mayo: wipped = wiped?
- [15:16] Garn Conover: yea silly SL download replaced it with crappy silver
- [15:17] Bambers Linden: aah
- [15:17] Franziska Bosatsu: *g*
- [15:17] Aimee Trescothick: ahh that sort of skin
- [15:17] Cummere Mayo: cant repo here cause of no build. :-/
- [15:17] Soap Clawtooth: Still say LL should run a 'skin the client' competition to compile some more choices
- [15:17] Bambers Linden: bridie - can you try to repro?
- [15:17] Aimee Trescothick: can repo with a script from inventory
- [15:17] Soap Clawtooth: Cummere, cam over to HIP sandbox and try
- [15:18] Aimee Trescothick: just open a script in inventory and make a change, it happens then too
- [15:18] Cummere Mayo: lol if i try to alt cam anywhere i -will- crash
- [15:18] Soap Clawtooth: lol.
- [15:18] Cummere Mayo: imee can you add that comment and in that case i vote import once she does
- [15:18] Cummere Mayo: *aimee
- [15:18] Bambers Linden: We should import this then
- [15:18] Alexa Linden: k
- [15:18] Alexa Linden: importing 7278
- [15:19] Bambers Linden: cool
- [15:19] Aimee Trescothick: yup
- [15:19] Bambers Linden: next up - https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11282
- [15:19] Bambers Linden: Script forgets Mono/Running checks when dropped into Prim from Folder
- [15:19] Bambers Linden: (for those of you who missed it, we're back in order now :) )
- [15:20] Bambers Linden: Might this actually be expected behaviour?
- [15:20] Ciaran Laval: Has that ever worked the way the author seems to think it should?
- [15:21] Bambers Linden: (perhaps not desirable, but expected)
- [15:21] Cummere Mayo: no idea im not a good scripter and im a lil confused by the comments :-/
- [15:22] Bambers Linden: Who does lots of scripting?
- [15:22] Bridie Linden: looks @ enus
- [15:22] Ciaran Laval: I think it's more to do with the fact that you can't compile mono from an inventory script
- [15:23] Garn Conover: Bambers it should work the same as if u dropped it in by itself
- [15:23] Enus Linden: dont look at me, tho, iirc i need to enable scripts when i add them to prims from inventory
- [15:23] Enus Linden: set to running that is
- [15:23] Cummere Mayo: garn does this only repo if you drop the folder in?
- [15:23] Enus Linden: it does remember Mono/LSL selection
- [15:24] Soap Clawtooth: I thought scripts ran in LSL by default unless you specifically checked the mono box while you're writing the script - so 'create new script' simply creates the script in LSL until you manually check it when you start to write the script?
- [15:24] Bambers Linden: So we're heading toward re-state the bug as Mono check is an issue, running checkbox is expected? Then import?
- [15:24] Cummere Mayo: ok so it works as expected if you drop it form inventory but if you drop a folder containing it from inventory it doesnt? *is trying to get clarification*
- [15:24] Franziska Bosatsu: hi Jock
- [15:25] Alexa Linden: ya, I can ask for clarification
- [15:25] Cummere Mayo: looks to enus and garn
- [15:25] Franziska Bosatsu: :)
- [15:25] Garn Conover: trying to check
- [15:25] Enus Linden: i've not dropped folders with scripts in myself... am not sure of expected behavior either
- [15:26] Garn Conover: yea a pure script keeps its running and mono
- [15:26] Cummere Mayo: then i vote import
- [15:26] Bambers Linden: OK, we'll get clarification and import it later if deemed necessary?
- [15:26] Alexa Linden: ya, I'll mark with the triaged date
- [15:27] Garn Conover: Bambers *points above*
- [15:27] Alexa Linden: and then talk to a mono team member
- [15:27] Cummere Mayo: it sounds like it may be related soemwhat to the folder bug we looked at before...
- [15:27] Cummere Mayo: babmers i think import it
- [15:27] Cummere Mayo: *bambers
- [15:27] Bambers Linden: cross references
- [15:27] Enus Linden: bambers: qa could try it out. is easy peasy
- [15:28] Bambers Linden: fair enough. Let's import this one then.
- [15:28] Cummere Mayo: if a pure script transfer keeps the boxes checked and a folder containt that script transfer doesnt i think theres soemthing inconsistant and needs fixed
- [15:28] Alexa Linden: k
- [15:28] Cummere Mayo: thats my reasoning
- [15:28] Bambers Linden: ok, cool. :)
- [15:29] Bambers Linden: Next up... We're in to Release Candidate stuff :).
- [15:29] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11300
- [15:29] Bambers Linden: RC 1.22 - crashes when I open a second window in inventory
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: holy large inventory, batman
- [15:30] Ellla McMahon: Zen, in this one why do you think, in the Crash Report, the <key>DriverVersion</key>
- <string />
- is coming out blank ?
- [15:30] Alexa Linden: ouchers
- [15:30] Bambers Linden: I was wondering...
- [15:30] Bridie Linden: "My inventory is big, very big (80K) "
- [15:30] Franziska Bosatsu: hallo Nero
- [15:30] Nero Posthorn: Hello all ^^
- [15:30] Alexa Linden: I thought I was bad at 16K
- [15:30] Bambers Linden: Hello Nero
- [15:30] Cummere Mayo: but the fact it doesnt happen on previous viewers....... ahs inventory management changed?
- [15:30] Garn Conover: /em has 3 k
- [15:30] Garn Conover: has
- [15:31] Cummere Mayo: suspects this person is a designer
- [15:31] Garn Conover: poofs for a skin check
- [15:31] Alexa Linden: and a blogger
- [15:31] Alexa Linden: she is
- [15:31] Enus Linden: needs to run to another mtg
- [15:31] Soap Clawtooth: I don't get any crashed when opening a second inventory window on OS X.5 - but have encountered the difficulty with editing some prims too close to the avatar mesh (mainly necklaces and piercings stuff) - it simply wont select on right click, you have to have edit already open for it to select
- [15:31] Enus Linden: happy triaging all
- [15:31] Cummere Mayo: later enus!
- [15:31] Gellan Glenelg: that crash log has HUNDREDS of "INFO: LLViewerInventoryCategory::fetchDescendents: WebFetchInventoryDescendents capability not found. Using deprecated UDP message.
- "
- [15:31] Bambers Linden: Thanks for popping by Enus
- [15:31] Soap Clawtooth: Cya enus!
- [15:31] Gellan Glenelg: bye enus
- [15:31] Franziska Bosatsu: bye enus
- [15:32] Bambers Linden: hmmm -
- [15:32] Zen Linden: yeah. might be worth just checking internally
- [15:32] Soap Clawtooth: I'll invent an Enus-Seeking snowball for next time ^^
- [15:32] Cummere Mayo: votes send her to support and mark last triage
- [15:32] Zen Linden: on a really big inventory tester account
- [15:32] Bambers Linden: I'm inclined to agree with Cummere
- [15:32] Soap Clawtooth: I think someone should ask what the inventory size of the person who posted the bug is.
- [15:33] Soap Clawtooth: Just in case its limited to a certain size and above.
- [15:33] Alexa Linden: ya I think I would want maybe her account looked at through support
- [15:33] Garn Conover: its commented Soap
- [15:33] Bambers Linden: canthey repro on a different account, same set-up?
- [15:33] Alexa Linden: Since I know that he was such a case as thing a couple months ago
- [15:33] Garn Conover: 80k
- [15:33] Cummere Mayo: see if they can find soemthing if not then we look at it again after support does
- [15:33] Alexa Linden: I'll take care of this one
- [15:34] Bambers Linden: yeah, or at least hit the knowledge base for info regarding inventory size
- [15:34] Soap Clawtooth: Rule of thumb: always box your crap.
- [15:34] Bambers Linden: thanks alexa. I need a Bambers version of Glod Sarts!
- [15:34] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:34] Bambers Linden: Next up - https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10800
- [15:34] Cummere Mayo: im convinced this is an sl problem, im jsut not convinced its not a corruption somewhere
- [15:34] Bambers Linden: Camera unusable outside mouselook
- [15:34] Bambers Linden: heh heh. Is this a bug?
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: linux
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: Ramzi commented
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: resolve as NMI?
- [15:35] Garn Conover: Bridie lives :)
- [15:35] Cummere Mayo: again i say send to support
- [15:35] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:36] Bridie Linden: I do! but macbook appears to be dying...
- [15:36] Soap Clawtooth: NMI - is something behind them at the time? Is it, in fact, flycam? etc.
- [15:36] Bridie Linden: sigh
- [15:36] Bambers Linden: Yes. Another one where video would be great
- [15:36] Alexa Linden: yup I need more info :)
- [15:36] Alexa Linden: and will mark as so
- [15:36] Bambers Linden: cool
- [15:36] Franziska Bosatsu: think i gonna sleep night all night alexa
- [15:36] Soap Clawtooth: I only see the inside of my head when the camera zooms in because something is behind me or if im in flycam.
- [15:36] Bambers Linden: Next - https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11136
- [15:36] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:36] Bambers Linden: RC 1.22 freezes before splash page on first attempt to run
- [15:37] Cummere Mayo: oh yeah import!
- [15:37] Cummere Mayo: ill comment with my specs
- [15:37] Bambers Linden: I have seen something similar on Vista
- [15:37] Aimee Trescothick: could be a crazy slow camera transition time or something? long shot, but possible
- [15:37] Bambers Linden: please do Cummere
- [15:37] Soap Clawtooth: Can't repro on OS X.5
- [15:37] Alexa Linden: good point aimee
- [15:38] Alexa Linden: thanks soap, can you add that please?
- [15:38] Bambers Linden: Aimee - good thought
- [15:38] Soap Clawtooth: Maybe related to AMD Athlon-ness
- [15:38] Bambers Linden: Alexa - you're fast today.
- [15:38] Ciaran Laval: Connection issue?
- [15:38] Cummere Mayo: might be
- [15:38] Cummere Mayo: sl still doesnt recognize the amd proccessors correctly
- [15:38] Garn Conover: Bambers get used to it ;) shes as fast as her Sarts
- [15:38] Bambers Linden: :)
- [15:39] Alexa Linden: hahahaha
- [15:39] Soap Clawtooth: Might be loosely related to that then, Cummere.
- [15:39] Cummere Mayo: I commented
- [15:39] Alexa Linden: thanks
- [15:39] Ciaran Laval: Does the whole thing go white or just where the picture should be? Ask them if they can login anyway
- [15:39] Bambers Linden: Cool - mark that one for import and on we go :)
- [15:39] Alexa Linden: I will ciaran :)
- [15:39] Cummere Mayo: and yeah tthere needs to be an amd meta issue cause amd processors tend to freeze up running various things on sl more then any others
- [15:40] Soap Clawtooth: Seems as though they can log in anyway - hasn't stated that freezing is a permanent state.
- [15:40] Cummere Mayo: it freezes first time
- [15:40] Cummere Mayo: secodn time it works
- [15:40] Bambers Linden: thinks each piece of hardware should have a meta issue...
- [15:40] Soap Clawtooth: agrees
- [15:40] Bambers Linden: Should we move to the next one?
- [15:40] Cummere Mayo: /jme would be willing to work on that in a couple months...
- [15:40] Bambers Linden: :)
- [15:40] SharonLee Windlow: I have seen that issue on my system twice adn I run an intel CPU but only at the login screens
- [15:41] Bambers Linden: I did see it on an athlon actuually
- [15:41] Cummere Mayo: vote for this oen move to feature request
- [15:41] Soap Clawtooth: Yeah, move on, needs NMI until someone else can repro it, otherwise its an AMD thing
- [15:41] Ciaran Laval: I've had the white background once or twice but the login box was there and let me login
- [15:41] Bambers Linden: (Bambers spelling - now with 50% more u!)
- [15:41] Alexa Linden: hahahaha
- [15:41] Soap Clawtooth: lol.
- [15:41] Bambers Linden: cool. Next: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10596
- [15:41] Bambers Linden: Friends on mini map are too hard to distinguish from normal users for colorblind people
- [15:42] Cummere Mayo: feature request
- [15:42] Bambers Linden: accessibility
- [15:42] Garn Conover: this one there is a patch made that allows user changes but i know its just being kept secret from ll heh
- [15:42] Bambers Linden: yeah, and as I'm not colour blind myself I vote give them the benefit of the doubt and import.
- [15:42] Alexa Linden: I swear we've had a version of this before
- [15:42] Alexa Linden: gellen? elllla?
- [15:42] Garn Conover: you have alexa
- [15:42] Alexa Linden: do you remember
- [15:42] Alexa Linden: k :)
- [15:42] Soap Clawtooth: Probably because its going in a custom client. - Just change the friends dot to some other colour they're not blind to
- [15:42] Gellan Glenelg: looking
- [15:42] Alexa Linden: I'm semi sane then
- [15:42] Cummere Mayo: i think maybe we have
- [15:43] Soap Clawtooth: Or two vastly different opposing colours
- [15:43] Bambers Linden: Sounds like an Rx design issue
- [15:43] Cummere Mayo: either way we should mark it feature request and move it to internal if the past one wasnt
- [15:43] Zen Linden: agreed
- [15:43] Alexa Linden: because I've seen the color link before
- [15:43] Aimee Trescothick: ideally for accessibility it should be a different icon
- [15:43] Soap Clawtooth: [1]
- [15:43] Alexa Linden: ya, I will track down afterwarnd
- [15:43] Ciaran Laval: Brownie points galore for fixing this one
- [15:43] Aimee Trescothick: but that then raises the issue that it's really 3 icons
- [15:43] Alexa Linden: I think the other had a patch too
- [15:43] Aimee Trescothick: with above and below
- [15:43] Alexa Linden: and a similar link
- [15:44] Alexa Linden: I will move to FR and take care of linkingz
- [15:45] Bambers Linden: ok. Moving along
- [15:45] Cummere Mayo: looks on to the next issue and facepalms at some of the comments that are brought here again !
- [15:45] Bambers Linden: Don't look yet~!
- [15:45] Bambers Linden: Look now: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8471
- [15:46] Bambers Linden: Invisible avatars or avatars appearing as gas balls
- [15:46] Cummere Mayo: anywyas i already comment on the next one
- [15:46] Alexa Linden: can I tell you that I love pjira
- [15:46] Bambers Linden: This is actually here as a request for comments from Ramzi
- [15:46] Cummere Mayo: and so ill abstain cuase im very based on waht i want happening
- [15:46] Alexa Linden: it makes me laugh
- [15:46] Bridie Linden: no me, alexa!
- [15:46] Alexa Linden: it makes me cry
- [15:46] Alexa Linden: it's got a good beat and I can dance to it so I give it a 89.6
- [15:46] Soap Clawtooth: Connection related.
- [15:46] Bambers Linden: does have the feeling Ramzi threw this in as a practical joke...
- [15:47] Cummere Mayo: thsi oen is not connection realted soap
- [15:47] Cummere Mayo: trust me on that
- [15:47] Zen Linden: decides to throw a gass ball at ramzi
- [15:47] Cummere Mayo: i can dup it on any of three very differant connections
- [15:48] Soap Clawtooth: You wanna know what isn't connection related - the recent and venegeful return of ruth, lol.
- [15:48] Cummere Mayo: thats what this is
- [15:48] Bambers Linden: Is there any concensus that this died down after 1.21 and came back with the 1.22 RCs?
- [15:48] Soap Clawtooth: No not the cloud ruth - the ruth ruth
- [15:48] Cummere Mayo: btw bsi members ramzi jsut slapped us with a new viewer
- [15:49] Bambers Linden: Don't pick on ruth - it took us ages to placate her after she found out she was being replaced with a gas cloud.
- [15:49] Cummere Mayo: lol thats jsut my eprsonal expereince bambers
- [15:49] Bambers Linden: :)
- [15:49] Soap Clawtooth: Bambers - some people are seeing others and themselves as the original ruth, of late.
- [15:49] Cummere Mayo: but yeah i see this allot myself
- [15:49] Soap Clawtooth: Me included at one point
- [15:50] Bambers Linden: I think Ramzi's concern is that something in 1.22 has made this occur more often than in 1.21
- [15:50] Ciaran Laval: This sounds like its related to the textures not rezzing properly issue. I see people with grey legs a lot in 1.21 still
- [15:50] Gellan Glenelg: I've never seen it on 1.22
- [15:50] Cummere Mayo: well as i siad im too biased on this bug cuase it annoys the *edit* out of me
- [15:50] Bambers Linden: Ciaran - could be...
- [15:50] Soap Clawtooth: As a side note the problem didn't occure until the previous server rollout.
- [15:51] Zen Linden: only notices inivisible avatars when he first tps to an area. the moment i move, they update and everything's fine
- [15:51] Alexa Linden: same for me
- [15:51] Soap Clawtooth: Same for me.
- [15:51] Alexa Linden: or if I pan in and out
- [15:51] Bambers Linden: Hmmm... Soap and Gellan, can you add your comments to that bug please?
- [15:51] Cummere Mayo: ahd this issue since 1st nightly and sadly that doesnt always fix it for me
- [15:51] Zen Linden: right... all those force a rebuild
- [15:51] Bambers Linden: Imposter troubles?
- [15:52] Cummere Mayo: sometimes it wont fix till they talk or do soemthing that affects my avi
- [15:52] Zen Linden: not impostor, i don't think.
- [15:52] Cummere Mayo: nto imposter. i dont use imposters
- [15:52] Zen Linden: not, it just has to do with the mesh rebuilding that occurs
- [15:52] Zen Linden: most likely
- [15:52] Zen Linden: don't know what changed in 1.22 for that
- [15:53] Bambers Linden: ok. I think we should add these thoughts to the bug for ramzi's peace of mind.
- [15:53] Cummere Mayo: we could ping andrew see if he knows
- [15:53] Alexa Linden: I'll add a traiged date too
- [15:53] Soap Clawtooth: Commented
- [15:53] Zen Linden: this is more a runitai problem
- [15:53] Alexa Linden: thanks Soap :)
- [15:53] Bambers Linden: Sweet - thanks Soap

- [15:54] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:54] Bambers Linden: Oh no
- [15:54] Soap Clawtooth: Seems the old girl wont go easily, lol.
- [15:54] Bambers Linden: we have 6 minutes left and we're out of bugs
- [15:54] Alexa Linden: "what do you want to be? Check A for Ruth, B for cloud"
- [15:54] Bambers Linden: didn't prepare for this eventuality
- [15:55] Cummere Mayo: lol i could share oen but dan imported it after two hours of palying hooky from meetings
- [15:55] Cummere Mayo: lol
- [15:55] Bambers Linden: Would you like your avatar to be : Male Ruth. Female Ruth?
- [15:55] Soap Clawtooth: Oh no bambers, you may be forced to engaged in....gumps....'chit chat'
- [15:55] Soap Clawtooth: :P
- [15:55] Soap Clawtooth: gulps*
