The community tools user group exists to discuss and facilitate Resident involvement with:

  • The Second Life Wiki
  • Knowledge Base
  • Blogs
  • Forums
  • Second Life Answers

We'll answer any questions and try to address any concerns with these resources.

Schedule

Every Thursday at 1pm PT at the "Doc dock" in Beaumont.

Also see the calendar of public user group meetings.

Agenda

Agenda for the next user group meeting is:

  • WEB-2265 - Links to Adult Maturity Definition and Maturity Definitions lead to a page with "404 - Page not found."
  • User IP Addresses Displayed in Screenshots Posted Online by Moderators
  • Suggestion for thursday March 17: what about a "Community Translators" User Group? Or that group is part of this Community Tools User Group? (added by Irene Muni).
    • Rand mentioned a CT user group coming up during the UG meeting on Feb 17
      • Yes, I was in that meeting... and I have waited for 1 month LOL (added by Irene Muni).
  • Suggestion for thursday March 17: Is there any way for translate the Community Participation Guidelines? Yes, I know: "You may access and link to this page, but you may not copy, distribute, modify, adapt, or translate any content on this page." But I think that those Guidelines must be translated. It is difficult to enforce a rule if you cannot understand the rule; if you are authorized, you can see some dialogue about this in this thread of the Translators Forum (added by Irene Muni).
  • Suggestion for thursday March 17: we need more clarification about the moderation of forum topics about moderation, how can we give feedback about moderation if we cannot write complaints - nicely written complaints - about the moderation?; assuming the thread is not deleted, see, for example, this: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Community-Feedback/Very-agressive-Moderation/td-p/755959 (added by Irene Muni).
