First time in Second Life

6565 days ago I could see the light! Trying for the first time to log on made me crash instantly but with the second try I was born - naked and overwhelmed. I was surrounded by other naked people so I felt somehow comfortable but when my clothes finally rezzed I was quite happy and tried to start exploring the new life.

It was way too much for me to see, try and explore so after messing up my avatar, wearing some uncomfortable prims and beginning to feel frustrated I quickly logged off and didn´t come back for a couple of days.

With some self-encouragement I made myself go for some more experience and met a Mentor yay! He helped me out of the prim dilemma and with some explained clicks I suddenly looked like a human being again - the adventures could begin...

First steps in the new world

When I started my Second Life experience there still were those funny gambling machines. So I took the money the guys from the Lab had granted me upon registration and took it right into a casine. Yay was I broke after half an hour! But hey, I met some really nice residents that again felt some pity for me and they took me freebie shopping. Freebie shopping btw is something I still love to do hehe... We were a nice circle of friends and spent lots of our days exploring, dancing and chatting. Unfortunately one after the other of my early-day-friends vanished from Second Life but some are still there. While exploring on my own I found some awesome spots. Way later I figured out that those houses I sat in and the TV's I used were private property. I still feel a little bit ashamed of those early days but at least I never got caught...
