Community Tools User Group
Revision as of 12:08, 10 March 2011 by Cummere Mayo (talk | contribs)
The community tools user group exists to discuss and facilitate Resident involvement with:
- The Second Life Wiki
- Knowledge Base
- Blogs
- Forums
- Second Life Answers
We'll answer any questions and try to address any concerns with these resources.
Schedule
Every Thursday at 1pm PT at the "Doc dock" in Beaumont.
Also see the calendar of public user group meetings.
Agenda
Agenda for the next user group meeting is:
- Community Platform
- Is there any localized help available/planned? (Torben Trautman)
- Confusion about which community guidelines are being used
- Will the available threaded view be improved? (Torben Trautman)
- Are there plans to fix the login issue? (Torben Trautman)
- Roles&Ranks: Does the number of wiki edits, jira issues filed/commented/moved/solved, KB articles suggested/improved/translated and/or contribution agreements signed have influence on roles in the community platform?
- Alternative question: Why do I have to post so and so many times in the "Make Friends" thread if I´m only interested in continuing to provide localized KB articles? (sorry, Torben again... I hope someone else posts some more questions or I might feel bad ;))
- Moderation issues
- threads soft or oz tell us to take to forums get deleted off forums and users warned/threatened
- contextless moderations/warnings/threats for use of words damn, bitch, breast, tits, etc... making it hard for discussions about birds or certain stores (ie bitchtails damn good designs, etc)
- moderators are blazenly pro redzone and allow redzone users to use the terms terrorists, dramawhores, etc even when multiple flags issued...
