The described function does not exist. This article is a feature request.

Summary

Function: key llUsernameToKey( string username );
0.1 Forced Delay
10.0 Energy

Returns a key that is the UUID of avatar with username, if they are located in the same sim that the script is running in.

• string username

Caveats

  • This function causes the script to sleep for 0.1 seconds.
  • Works only for agents recently located in the same sim the script is running in. To request a UUID for a non-local avatar then use llRequestAgentKeyByUsername() instead.
