Sculpted Prim Usage

Sculpted prims may only use 1 Land Impact, but they have a higher unseen impact on your build.

Of the three types of object available (prim, sculpted, and mesh) the sculpted prim often has the highest impact.

• 
  A Prim cube, a sculpted cube, and a mesh cube as seen in wireframe.
• 
  Physics shape of each type prim, sculpted is the highest poly count.

Each object has a weight:

• 
  Prim Cube - 0.1 Physics, 0.5 Server, and 389 Display
• 
  Sculpted Cube - 1.8 Physics, 0.5 Server, 766 Display
• 
  Mesh Cube - 0.4 Physics, 0.5 Server, and 269 Display

Object weights:

• 
  Prim Sphere - 0.1 Physics, 0.5 Server, 459 Display,
• 
  Sculpted Sphere - 0.1 Physics, 0.5 Server, 766 Display
• 
  Mesh Sphere - 0.5 Physics, 0.5 Server, 269 Display

• Note that the mesh object physics weight count can be lowered by using a less complicated physics shape upon upload.
