A kind of costume which imitates a cat. Neko means cat in Japanese.

Neko may be a sort of furry in a broad sense, but the avatars don't use masks which furries usually use. They put kitty ears and whiskers on their naked faces, and wear furs, tails and claws. (Some may be omitted.) Their clothes are Goth-like in general.

The fashion term "Neko" seems to be originated and diffused in Second Life world, not in real world.
