- [2009/05/21 2:33] Davy Linden: Agenda is here: [1]
- [2009/05/21 2:33] Louise Linden: Shall we get started everyone?
- [2009/05/21 2:34] Moon Metty: alright
- [2009/05/21 2:34] Dirk Talamasca: Let's roll
- [2009/05/21 2:34] Patrick Ouachita: by all means
- [2009/05/21 2:34] Louise Linden: First up is https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13137
- [2009/05/21 2:34] Louise Linden: invisible avatar
- [2009/05/21 2:34] Moon Metty: i haven't seen it in RC2 yet
- [2009/05/21 2:34] Moon Metty: but it's a little early to judge
- [2009/05/21 2:34] Moon Metty: hi Eddy :)
- [2009/05/21 2:35] EddyFragment Robonaught: Howdy folks Hiya Moon
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Sebastean Steamweaver: I can't say I've seen it either, myself.
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Davy Linden: alexa already asked if it's still a problem in rc2
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Davy Linden: NMI?
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Patrick Ouachita: i can't confirm that jira
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Patrick Ouachita: haven't seen it either
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Erinyse Planer: ild agree davy...
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Louise Linden: Davy I'm OK with that
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Erinyse Planer: nmi
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Sebastean Steamweaver: I have another account that changes outfits frequently, and I've not had his avatar disappear, or any others.
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Louise Linden: see what turns up in RC2
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Moon Metty: it's a dupe of other reports
- [2009/05/21 2:35] Patrick Ouachita: fair enough
- [2009/05/21 2:36] EddyFragment Robonaught: thanx for your help before Davy. All worked out thanx. you da man
- [2009/05/21 2:36] Moon Metty: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12906
- [2009/05/21 2:36] Davy Linden: :)
- [2009/05/21 2:36] Davy Linden: thanks moon
- [2009/05/21 2:36] Louise Linden: ok so next https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13328
- [2009/05/21 2:36] WolfPup Lowenhar: ok me back
- [2009/05/21 2:36] Louise Linden: All my bot models are smoke clouds
- [2009/05/21 2:36] Morgaine Dinova: waves quietly
- [2009/05/21 2:36] Erinyse Planer: expected behavior
- [2009/05/21 2:36] Sebastean Steamweaver: Hey there Morgaine
- [2009/05/21 2:36] Sebastean Steamweaver: And Eddy
- [2009/05/21 2:37] EddyFragment Robonaught: hi
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Erinyse Planer: they changed how the viewers and servers handel the avitar textures
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Moon Metty: so bots smoke too much, what else is new?
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Louise Linden: lol
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Patrick Ouachita: lol
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Moon Metty: they hang around all day ...
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Morgaine Dinova: Bots are only clouds if they can't bake and send up their av mesh textures.
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Dirk Talamasca: This is an issue with the bot software, not the viewer
- [2009/05/21 2:37] WolfPup Lowenhar: lol moon
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Davy Linden: should we ask what client the BOTS are using, not the observer?
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Erinyse Planer: bots arent using a viewer perse davy
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Moon Metty: yes Davy
- [2009/05/21 2:37] Louise Linden: yes, i think a little more info here would be good
- [2009/05/21 2:38] WolfPup Lowenhar: that would be my guess and some one stated so in the jira
- [2009/05/21 2:38] Patrick Ouachita: my bots when rarely used do tend to render pretty nicely or did upon last use.
- [2009/05/21 2:38] Nexii Malthus: so, bots smoke too much and aren't good at baking cake
- [2009/05/21 2:38] Erinyse Planer: most bots are their own program with a built in "veiwer"
- [2009/05/21 2:38] Davy Linden: if the bots are using 1.23.1, it's an issue, but I suspect their not
- [2009/05/21 2:38] Erinyse Planer: most are running jvc
- [2009/05/21 2:38] Louise Linden: shall we ask them to look at RC2 and give us a little more info?
- [2009/05/21 2:38] Morgaine Dinova: From 1.23 onwards, all clients that can't bake and send the bakes back to sim will be clouds, so they'd better learn to :-)
- [2009/05/21 2:38] Patrick Ouachita: nah my bots are based on a custom client based off 1.19
- [2009/05/21 2:38] WolfPup Lowenhar: they could be use int some thing like the hipp viewer
- [2009/05/21 2:39] Patrick Ouachita: so haven't had issues
- [2009/05/21 2:39] Louise Linden: So Davy NMI then please!
- [2009/05/21 2:39] Davy Linden: ok
- [2009/05/21 2:39] Louise Linden: next up we have https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13498
- [2009/05/21 2:39] Louise Linden: RC Camera angle/FOV is much narrower
- [2009/05/21 2:40] Ann Otoole: is it? hadn't noticed that
- [2009/05/21 2:40] Nexii Malthus: Might have accidentally clicked the FOV hotkeys
- [2009/05/21 2:40] Nexii Malthus: ctrl-0
- [2009/05/21 2:40] WolfPup Lowenhar: i have not seen this either and im currently on the 1.23.2
- [2009/05/21 2:41] Patrick Ouachita: np here with FOV either
- [2009/05/21 2:41] Moon Metty: there are some issues with FOV
- [2009/05/21 2:41] Moon Metty: the moon appears bigger
- [2009/05/21 2:41] Sebastean Steamweaver: Yes, like a "Fisheye" effect atextreme angle settings.
- [2009/05/21 2:41] EddyFragment Robonaught: I noticed the moon looked bigger and wondered if the angle had changed
- [2009/05/21 2:41] Moon Metty: the fisheye, yes
- [2009/05/21 2:41] WolfPup Lowenhar: i run the PPN's as they come out
- [2009/05/21 2:41] Moon Metty: no default values for the sliders
- [2009/05/21 2:41] Moon Metty: and the angle-slider's range is way too big
- [2009/05/21 2:42] Louise Linden: Davy, do you think this is one maybe we shoudl have a quick look over?
- [2009/05/21 2:42] Davy Linden: import for QA?
- [2009/05/21 2:42] Dirk Talamasca: What this relates to is that "Camera View Angle" in camera preferences does not affect "angle" at all. Instead that function performs the same as the Zoom functions available in keyboard shortcuts
- [2009/05/21 2:42] DMC Zsigmond: Hi Guys :)
- [2009/05/21 2:42] Moon Metty: ah ok Dirk
- [2009/05/21 2:42] WolfPup Lowenhar: it dose not say whic nvida card he is useing
- [2009/05/21 2:43] Louise Linden: true,
- [2009/05/21 2:43] WolfPup Lowenhar: he might be on a laptop win onbord nvida
- [2009/05/21 2:43] Moon Metty: it would be good to have some screenshots for this report
- [2009/05/21 2:43] Sebastean Steamweaver: I perceived it a little differently, myself. It seemed it was "backing up" the camera, and bending things to the sides into view to increase the viewing angle, hence the fisheye, or are we talking about different things?
- [2009/05/21 2:43] Davy Linden: import? or NMI?
- [2009/05/21 2:43] WolfPup Lowenhar: the cput spec suggest it
- [2009/05/21 2:43] Louise Linden: I'm ok with importing and having a look, maybe ask for me info too?
- [2009/05/21 2:43] Patrick Ouachita: brb
- [2009/05/21 2:44] Dirk Talamasca: Right Sebastian.. Try CTRL+8 to get the same effect
- [2009/05/21 2:44] Sebastean Steamweaver: Hmm
- [2009/05/21 2:44] WolfPup Lowenhar: core2's on full tower do no run that slow
- [2009/05/21 2:44] Sebastean Steamweaver: does so
- [2009/05/21 2:44] Sebastean Steamweaver: Heh, you're right. I didn't know about that shortcut.
- [2009/05/21 2:44] Morgaine Dinova: Techwolf repo's it, and he's reliable.
- [2009/05/21 2:44] Davy Linden: ok - let's import to QA
- [2009/05/21 2:44] Dirk Talamasca: The other reason this is especially lame is that 1.23 now holds the camera angle persistently through logout
- [2009/05/21 2:45] Louise Linden: ok Davy
- [2009/05/21 2:45] Louise Linden: next up we have https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13095
- [2009/05/21 2:45] Louise Linden: Transparent Avatars when using Models on the JVA Software & other similar software.
- [2009/05/21 2:45] Erinyse Planer: points above to other one
- [2009/05/21 2:45] Moon Metty: yup Eri
- [2009/05/21 2:45] Sebastean Steamweaver: What would be more useful for me is being able to adjust how "high" the camera angle was above the avatar, but originally that's what I thought the "Camera Angle" was supposed to do. I was a little confused
- [2009/05/21 2:45] Davy Linden: same as 13328
- [2009/05/21 2:46] Louise Linden: mark as dupe?
- [2009/05/21 2:46] Dirk Talamasca: That is what ANGLE means to me as well Sebastean
- [2009/05/21 2:46] Davy Linden: will do
- [2009/05/21 2:46] Moon Metty: well, with a little luck it's fixed
- [2009/05/21 2:46] Louise Linden: so next we have https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13240
- [2009/05/21 2:46] Louise Linden: Objects sent while in busy mode go to objects folder, not trash
- [2009/05/21 2:47] EddyFragment Robonaught: good?
- [2009/05/21 2:47] Moon Metty: this is new behaviour by design
- [2009/05/21 2:47] Moon Metty: it has some side effects
- [2009/05/21 2:47] Moon Metty: not only do objects go to the objects folder
- [2009/05/21 2:47] Ann Otoole: any relation to the numerous reports of delivered items nevr making it at all?
- [2009/05/21 2:47] Moon Metty: textures go to the .. texture folder
- [2009/05/21 2:47] Moon Metty: etc
- [2009/05/21 2:47] Ann Otoole: ah hah
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Moon Metty: we need an in-box
- [2009/05/21 2:48] DMC Zsigmond: Does anyone mind if I take a seat?
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Ann Otoole: ok so people will not know where to look lol
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Dirk Talamasca: A Busy Bin!
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Louise Linden: go for it!
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Morgaine Dinova: That's a rather odd meaning of "declined", if you receive in anyway --- regardless of where it ends up.
- [2009/05/21 2:48] WolfPup Lowenhar: there was a jira complaining about object going to trash when in bysy/away mode that might be related
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Patrick Ouachita: ok back
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Moon Metty: yes pup
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Davy Linden: please do DMC
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Patrick Ouachita: what jira subject we on now?
- [2009/05/21 2:48] DMC Zsigmond: thank you :)
- [2009/05/21 2:48] Sebastean Steamweaver: An in-box is a good idea, or at least a folder for busy-mode deliveries, somewhat like the lost and found.
- [2009/05/21 2:49] Moon Metty: the other problem is, it leaves no trace in chat
- [2009/05/21 2:49] EddyFragment Robonaught: agreed seb
- [2009/05/21 2:49] Dirk Talamasca: Have my declined objects forwarded to Philip please.. k thnx
- [2009/05/21 2:49] Moon Metty: never uses busy mode
- [2009/05/21 2:49] Sebastean Steamweaver: Haha
- [2009/05/21 2:49] WolfPup Lowenhar: lol dirk
- [2009/05/21 2:49] Louise Linden: ok, so that's current intentional behavour, so we'll move onto the next one
- [2009/05/21 2:49] Moon Metty: hehe
- [2009/05/21 2:49] Louise Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13490
- [2009/05/21 2:49] Louise Linden: Font readability in RC
- [2009/05/21 2:49] WolfPup Lowenhar: < turns off away/busy mode
- [2009/05/21 2:49] Sebastean Steamweaver: I haven't really had any issues with readability myself.
- [2009/05/21 2:50] Ann Otoole: what font where?
- [2009/05/21 2:50] Sebastean Steamweaver: In fact, I noticed that they changed the font for the script window, and it's a lot easier on (my) eyes when scripting.
- [2009/05/21 2:50] Ann Otoole: are they not seeing fancy unicode right?
- [2009/05/21 2:50] Moon Metty: i like the new font too
- [2009/05/21 2:50] Arabella Steadham: she says its too small now
- [2009/05/21 2:50] Arabella Steadham: its shrunk
- [2009/05/21 2:50] Moon Metty: only the "-" is a bit small
- [2009/05/21 2:50] Morgaine Dinova: Question re previous one: Is this a means of obtaining two copies of something, because the sender sees a "declined" and so gives another when requested?
- [2009/05/21 2:50] Louise Linden: we have changed a few font related things
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Arabella Steadham: I find it a strain to read now
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Patrick Ouachita: ok something similar that has been noticed lately not fixed that i've seen yet.... is like with vehicle attachments used to appear in objects folder now they are going to just above the Library Folder
- [2009/05/21 2:51] WolfPup Lowenhar: that looks like the vid card might not be rendering the font right
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Patrick Ouachita: this same bug was seen in past but now it's back
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Davy Linden: this looks like a driver problem to me
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Louise Linden: yes agreed
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Arabella Steadham: my drivers are fine
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Moon Metty: oh, that's another issue Patrick
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Arabella Steadham: she has the same card as me
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Dirk Talamasca: I haven't either but I certainly have got an earful from residents that do.. I believe the Grek Community is affected pretty drastically but I am unable to get them to post a JIRA no matter how I try to persuade them. They seem to think it won't do any good.
- [2009/05/21 2:51] Sebastean Steamweaver: Arabella, would you be able to get a screenshot of how the font appears to you?
- [2009/05/21 2:52] Arabella Steadham: I'll try
- [2009/05/21 2:52] WolfPup Lowenhar: on certian rezuloitions of screedn size i have seen it
- [2009/05/21 2:52] Louise Linden: shall we mark it as NMI and see if we're looking at specific hardware?
- [2009/05/21 2:52] Moon Metty: sounds like a plan
- [2009/05/21 2:52] WolfPup Lowenhar: but that is if your not running at the 'native of the monitor
- [2009/05/21 2:52] Arabella Steadham: ok, my font is fine tonight
- [2009/05/21 2:53] Arabella Steadham: just to make a liar of me :)
- [2009/05/21 2:53] Louise Linden: lol
- [2009/05/21 2:53] Sebastean Steamweaver: Hehe
- [2009/05/21 2:53] Louise Linden: OK so NMI then please Davy
- [2009/05/21 2:53] Louise Linden: next up: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13037
- [2009/05/21 2:53] Davy Linden: ok
- [2009/05/21 2:53] Louise Linden: Changing access rating preference resulted in incorrectly sending pg restricted to mature region then reset homepoint
- [2009/05/21 2:54] Ann Otoole: that sounds odd
- [2009/05/21 2:54] Erinyse Planer: yeah its done that to me a couple times. itsa nnoying
- [2009/05/21 2:54] Erinyse Planer: and now others have expereinced it too
- [2009/05/21 2:54] Louise Linden: Davy, import to QA?
- [2009/05/21 2:54] Davy Linden: yep
- [2009/05/21 2:54] Ann Otoole: the behavior i saw is changing to a restricted rating and home is not rated that way results in getting dumped in moose and home set there
- [2009/05/21 2:54] Moon Metty: a crash can always send you to your last logout point
- [2009/05/21 2:54] Erinyse Planer: sorry ild stay and answer questions ont hat one but im feelign really sick
- [2009/05/21 2:55] Sebastean Steamweaver: I can't confirm that one, but then, I haven't needed to. I have the ability to go to all three categories turned on so I can help clients wherever they are.
- [2009/05/21 2:55] Louise Linden: OK so we'll import and take a look
- [2009/05/21 2:55] Ann Otoole: so if home is mature and you set pg only and tp home your new home is moose
- [2009/05/21 2:55] Ann Otoole: until you reset rating and go back and reset home
- [2009/05/21 2:55] Dirk Talamasca: is moose, Natasha?
- [2009/05/21 2:56] Louise Linden: next we have: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13421
- [2009/05/21 2:56] Louise Linden: Alpha sorting issues much worse in this release
- [2009/05/21 2:56] Sebastean Steamweaver: Hmm
- [2009/05/21 2:56] Sebastean Steamweaver: Yes, sort of. There seems to be a big issue with alpha transitions, and client updates.
- [2009/05/21 2:56] Sebastean Steamweaver: And even editing and position updates.
- [2009/05/21 2:56] Sebastean Steamweaver: There also*
- [2009/05/21 2:57] WolfPup Lowenhar: the picture i put in is after a cache cleaning
- [2009/05/21 2:57] Ann Otoole: seems to be an epic rendering fail in general lol
- [2009/05/21 2:57] Moon Metty: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13097
- [2009/05/21 2:57] Moon Metty: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12987
- [2009/05/21 2:57] Moon Metty: those are the 2 main alpha reports
- [2009/05/21 2:57] Sebastean Steamweaver: Yes, both of those
- [2009/05/21 2:57] Patrick Ouachita: agreed
- [2009/05/21 2:57] Moon Metty: and this was the first one https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13038
- [2009/05/21 2:58] Moon Metty: from Eddy :)
- [2009/05/21 2:58] Sebastean Steamweaver: I posted videos in 12987 Louise -- They're short demos of the difference between the 1.21 client and RC2
- [2009/05/21 2:58] WolfPup Lowenhar: it could be related to the biger meta issue of the whole texture issues
- [2009/05/21 2:59] Sebastean Steamweaver: The alpha transitions I believe are directly related to the client failing to update, and the same seems to be true with what Ann describes.
- [2009/05/21 2:59] DMC Zsigmond: Sebastean, are those videos available for public view?
- [2009/05/21 2:59] Sebastean Steamweaver: Yes, they're attachments in the JIRa :)
- [2009/05/21 2:59] Dirk Talamasca: yes dmc
- [2009/05/21 2:59] Ann Otoole: VWR-12987 related the vanishing prims is tied to RenderVolumeLODFactor. it was imported but nobody shows as assigned.
- [2009/05/21 2:59] DMC Zsigmond: Great
- [2009/05/21 2:59] Sebastean Steamweaver: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12987
- [2009/05/21 3:00] Louise Linden: ok we'll take a look to see if this actually a dupe, if not we'll import?
- [2009/05/21 3:00] Patrick Ouachita: yep i must say Ann is right on that one
- [2009/05/21 3:01] DMC Zsigmond: The disappearing alpha is something we have noticed under Shadow Draft testing ATI
- [2009/05/21 3:01] Sebastean Steamweaver: I'm also on an ATI card DMC
- [2009/05/21 3:01] DMC Zsigmond: openSUSE 32 & 64
- [2009/05/21 3:01] Ann Otoole: there was another disappearing prims i thought was on the agenda but it vanished
- [2009/05/21 3:01] EddyFragment Robonaught: gave you Cage Rezzer.
- [2009/05/21 3:01] Patrick Ouachita: nvidia card here
- [2009/05/21 3:01] Sebastean Steamweaver: This issue has been occuring since the first nightly, which I notice, was also where there was the first mention of shadow pipelining.
- [2009/05/21 3:01] DMC Zsigmond: correction openSUSE 11.1 x86 and x64
- [2009/05/21 3:01] Louise Linden: Ann: it was triages last night
- [2009/05/21 3:01] Louise Linden: *triaged
- [2009/05/21 3:01] Ann Otoole: ah ok
- [2009/05/21 3:02] Moon Metty: i'm sure someone is working on it
- [2009/05/21 3:02] Louise Linden: ok so we'll go and ivestigate tis one
- [2009/05/21 3:02] Sebastean Steamweaver: Also, the same issue has been seen on other changes
- [2009/05/21 3:02] Moon Metty: but who?
- [2009/05/21 3:02] Sebastean Steamweaver: Seawolf dragons for example, have wings that change alpha when you fly or land.
- [2009/05/21 3:02] Sebastean Steamweaver: In the new RC, if you land, you have to zoom on each piece to make it disappear.
- [2009/05/21 3:02] Louise Linden: ok, moving on to the next one https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13079
- [2009/05/21 3:03] Davy Linden: the alpha on attachments is https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13097 sebastean
- [2009/05/21 3:03] Louise Linden: Unknown Alert message - expired_region_handoff
- [2009/05/21 3:03] WolfPup Lowenhar: yes they do for if your flying or landed
- [2009/05/21 3:03] Louise Linden: Davy, I think this may have been fixed?
- [2009/05/21 3:03] Davy Linden: this sounds familiar
- [2009/05/21 3:03] Patrick Ouachita: can't say i've ran into that one
- [2009/05/21 3:03] Louise Linden: I *think* that shoudl be fixed in RC2
- [2009/05/21 3:04] WolfPup Lowenhar: i have one of them and have seen some times that fact that parts of the wiings that are attached to the arms for to give the flaping motion are still visiable when ladned
- [2009/05/21 3:04] Dirk Talamasca: I have seen that too Wolf Like ywo paits of wings at times.. Moving a bit makes it vanish
- [2009/05/21 3:04] Dirk Talamasca: pairs*
- [2009/05/21 3:05] WolfPup Lowenhar: true
- [2009/05/21 3:05] Louise Linden: OK so we'll check if the fix for this is in, if not we'll import
- [2009/05/21 3:05] Louise Linden: Dirk, Wolfpup, if you see this in RC2 can you add comments and screen shots for me?
- [2009/05/21 3:05] Dirk Talamasca: Will do
- [2009/05/21 3:05] Louise Linden: great thanks!
- [2009/05/21 3:05] WolfPup Lowenhar: it can be a little anoying to be walking arond and have part of your wings poking up out of the ground some distance from you
- [2009/05/21 3:06] Sebastean Steamweaver: Hehe, yes
- [2009/05/21 3:06] WolfPup Lowenhar: im on the pn2
- [2009/05/21 3:06] Dirk Talamasca: May need armor though. Dragons play hell on white suits.
- [2009/05/21 3:06] Sebastean Steamweaver: The underlying issue seems to be that the client just isn't updating as it should.
- [2009/05/21 3:06] Louise Linden: ok so next is: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13226
- [2009/05/21 3:06] Louise Linden: Objects don't load when the focus is on internal html windows (search all, etc)
- [2009/05/21 3:06] Sebastean Steamweaver: Anything that forces a client update, like right-clicking or alt-zooming, makes it change to the proper state
- [2009/05/21 3:06] Sebastean Steamweaver: Hmm
- [2009/05/21 3:07] Sebastean Steamweaver: Haven't really noticed/looked for that one.
- [2009/05/21 3:07] Moon Metty: me neither
- [2009/05/21 3:08] Squirrel Wood: B00!
- [2009/05/21 3:08] WolfPup Lowenhar: hey squirrle
- [2009/05/21 3:08] Moon Metty: nuts!
- [2009/05/21 3:08] Louise Linden: so this was discovered in rc0
- [2009/05/21 3:08] Morgaine Dinova: Hi Squirrel :-)
- [2009/05/21 3:08] Louise Linden: but it might be worth importing to QA and having a look
- [2009/05/21 3:09] Davy Linden: ok
- [2009/05/21 3:09] Sebastean Steamweaver: Hi Squirrel :)
- [2009/05/21 3:09] Dirk Talamasca: Hiya Squirrel
- [2009/05/21 3:09] Louise Linden: waves!
- [2009/05/21 3:09] Squirrel Wood: Hellos!
- [2009/05/21 3:09] Louise Linden: next is: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13430
- [2009/05/21 3:09] Patrick Ouachita: welcome squirrel
- [2009/05/21 3:09] Louise Linden: Multiple Popups do not show arrow to go to next Popup
- [2009/05/21 3:10] Sebastean Steamweaver: I have seen that once or twice, but not terribly often.
- [2009/05/21 3:10] Sebastean Steamweaver: I haven't seen it in the most recent version.
- [2009/05/21 3:10] Davy Linden: this is already in internal jira. I believe it's now fixed
- [2009/05/21 3:10] EddyFragment Robonaught: I wrote scripts that produce multiple dialogs in the last RC and they were always fine
- [2009/05/21 3:10] Patrick Ouachita: haven't seen it
- [2009/05/21 3:10] Moon Metty: there is another report about yellow arrows
- [2009/05/21 3:11] EddyFragment Robonaught: getting yellow arrows when you shouldn't was an issue in the last RC tho
- [2009/05/21 3:11] Moon Metty: ah
- [2009/05/21 3:11] EddyFragment Robonaught: seems fixed now
- [2009/05/21 3:11] Louise Linden: OK Davy, we'll go and take a look at the internal jira,
- [2009/05/21 3:12] Moon Metty: i see the arrows correctly
- [2009/05/21 3:12] Louise Linden: next: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13076
- [2009/05/21 3:12] Louise Linden: bottom of letters/writing missing/faded out
- [2009/05/21 3:13] WolfPup Lowenhar: befor the PN2 i some times would see the arrows repedetly when i got a drop down till the menu finished loading
- [2009/05/21 3:13] Sebastean Steamweaver: Well, I am actually having an issue with the font on the menus in the silver theme.
- [2009/05/21 3:13] Sebastean Steamweaver: But it isn't exactly the letters missing parts.
- [2009/05/21 3:13] WolfPup Lowenhar: i use the silver theme period
- [2009/05/21 3:13] Sebastean Steamweaver: It'smore like the first capital letters are . . twisted.
- [2009/05/21 3:13] Louise Linden: Sebasteanm that would be a different issue really
- [2009/05/21 3:13] EddyFragment Robonaught: more info as in system would be obviously better
- [2009/05/21 3:13] Sebastean Steamweaver: nods
- [2009/05/21 3:14] Louise Linden: i think this is a NMI, screen shots would really be usefyl here
- [2009/05/21 3:14] Louise Linden: *as would me being able to type/spell
- [2009/05/21 3:14] Moon Metty: heh, you're doing great
- [2009/05/21 3:14] Scanner and: Flight Feather v2 whispers: Sorry. You snooze; you lose.
- [2009/05/21 3:14] Davy Linden: I think it's probbly a dupe... but screenshots will help determine that
- [2009/05/21 3:14] WolfPup Lowenhar: yes defantly
- [2009/05/21 3:14] Louise Linden: yes davy
- [2009/05/21 3:14] Moon Metty: we just don't understand what you're typing :)
- [2009/05/21 3:15] EddyFragment Robonaught: speeling isntnt worth eht papper its rit on
- [2009/05/21 3:15] Louise Linden: ;)
- [2009/05/21 3:15] Louise Linden: +1 to that!
- [2009/05/21 3:15] Nexii Malthus: what?
- [2009/05/21 3:15] Morgaine Dinova: Eddy: ah thanks, at last a line I understood :-)
- [2009/05/21 3:15] WolfPup Lowenhar: and if posible have them include the selling script if used
- [2009/05/21 3:15] EddyFragment Robonaught: yw Morgaine
- [2009/05/21 3:16] WolfPup Lowenhar: might help for trying to repro
- [2009/05/21 3:16] Patrick Ouachita: no issues with font here on silver skin
- [2009/05/21 3:16] Louise Linden: ok so moving on: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12955
- [2009/05/21 3:16] Louise Linden: Changing Antialiasing before login gives weird screen until apply is clicked
- [2009/05/21 3:16] Patrick Ouachita: and have tried search for several keywords all works
- [2009/05/21 3:17] Patrick Ouachita: have not seen that one
- [2009/05/21 3:17] EddyFragment Robonaught: I have no idea what that means. *blushes*
- [2009/05/21 3:17] Sebastean Steamweaver: Can't say I've tried that. Clicking "apply" seems like a logical thing to do though :)
- [2009/05/21 3:17] DMC Zsigmond: I can confirm that
- [2009/05/21 3:17] Moon Metty: that is a weird screen yes
- [2009/05/21 3:17] Louise Linden: Davy, import this one?
- [2009/05/21 3:17] Davy Linden: qa?
- [2009/05/21 3:18] Louise Linden: yup
- [2009/05/21 3:18] Sebastean Steamweaver: What does it look like, Moon?
- [2009/05/21 3:18] Moon Metty: it looks like a AA mask
- [2009/05/21 3:18] Sebastean Steamweaver: Huh, strange
- [2009/05/21 3:18] Moon Metty: look at screenshot 2
- [2009/05/21 3:18] Louise Linden: cool, import to qa
- [2009/05/21 3:18] Davy Linden: kk
- [2009/05/21 3:19] Sebastean Steamweaver: For some reason I missed the screenshots lol
- [2009/05/21 3:19] Moon Metty: maybe not high priority
- [2009/05/21 3:19] Sebastean Steamweaver: I guess my eye was looking for something other than a mostly white picture lol
- [2009/05/21 3:19] Moon Metty: it's an odd case
- [2009/05/21 3:19] Louise Linden: indeed
- [2009/05/21 3:19] Moon Metty: easily avoided :)
- [2009/05/21 3:20] Louise Linden: so next up is: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13375
- [2009/05/21 3:20] Louise Linden: HUD gives avatar pie-menu
- [2009/05/21 3:20] Moon Metty: RC2 has a new pie menu
- [2009/05/21 3:20] Moon Metty: it's outdated
- [2009/05/21 3:20] Sebastean Steamweaver: Yes, the new pie menu is much better.
- [2009/05/21 3:20] Davy Linden: this is already "fix pending"
- [2009/05/21 3:20] Louise Linden: looks like this one is being taken care of already
- [2009/05/21 3:21] Moon Metty: yes :)
- [2009/05/21 3:21] Patrick Ouachita: hud pie menu works fine here
- [2009/05/21 3:21] Patrick Ouachita: and is not av pie menu
- [2009/05/21 3:21] Moon Metty: some people miss groups and friends there
- [2009/05/21 3:21] Louise Linden: ok then so next: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2702
- [2009/05/21 3:21] Louise Linden: Leaving groups in Latest RC does not update in the client.
- [2009/05/21 3:21] WolfPup Lowenhar: yes defantly
- [2009/05/21 3:21] Squirrel Wood: 2702 sounds oooold
- [2009/05/21 3:21] Moon Metty: ooo an oldie
- [2009/05/21 3:21] DMC Zsigmond: Hier Hier on Groups being on the Pie Menu
- [2009/05/21 3:21] Dirk Talamasca: Yes and since there is room for them, I am not sure why they were eliminated Moon
- [2009/05/21 3:22] Sebastean Steamweaver: Actually, on the mention of the pie menu
- [2009/05/21 3:22] Sebastean Steamweaver: There is something that might be related - but skip it, I'd need to file a JIRA for it.
- [2009/05/21 3:22] Squirrel Wood: 2702 I would ask if it still happens
- [2009/05/21 3:22] Squirrel Wood: and leave it at that
- [2009/05/21 3:23] Louise Linden: it's an old one, but NMI
- [2009/05/21 3:23] Louise Linden: exactly Squirrel!
- [2009/05/21 3:23] Patrick Ouachita: can't confirm it nor deny it
- [2009/05/21 3:23] Moon Metty: or can't repro
- [2009/05/21 3:23] Nexii Malthus: check last comment
- [2009/05/21 3:23] Patrick Ouachita: but does look old

- [2009/05/21 3:24] EddyFragment Robonaught: glow is fine fullbright is broke
- [2009/05/21 3:24] Sebastean Steamweaver: I'm on Windows, and I've had no issues with glow.
- [2009/05/21 3:24] Dirk Talamasca: I don't think that leaving a group has ever completely updated until you relog. You can still receive group chat etc from a group that you left until you relog
- [2009/05/21 3:24] Squirrel Wood: may be an issue with ati/amd graphics cards?
- [2009/05/21 3:24] Squirrel Wood: don't notice any fail on my nvidia one
- [2009/05/21 3:24] Sebastean Steamweaver: Whoops
- [2009/05/21 3:25] Sebastean Steamweaver: I'm on an ATI card, and I've not had that issue, so I don't think it's ATI specific
- [2009/05/21 3:25] Ann Otoole: groups may not update till you clear group cache anyway
- [2009/05/21 3:25] Sebastean Steamweaver: ACk

- [2009/05/21 3:26] DMC Zsigmond: Re: on ATI drivers, my business has a relationship with AMD Far East, and by virtue we are in Second Life, more support around openGL is something we want to develop with ATI
- [2009/05/21 3:26] Moon Metty: hehe
- [2009/05/21 3:26] Sebastean Steamweaver: Pardon my big feet
- [2009/05/21 3:26] EddyFragment Robonaught: since fullbright broke I have used scripted glow instead
- [2009/05/21 3:27] Patrick Ouachita: is a weird oen then Eddy
- [2009/05/21 3:27] Moon Metty: does that work 100% Eddy?
- [2009/05/21 3:27] Patrick Ouachita: cause glow and FB working for me at least
- [2009/05/21 3:27] Sebastean Steamweaver: Glow and Fullbright are also working for me
- [2009/05/21 3:27] EddyFragment Robonaught: different look but scripted glow under shiney looks ok ish
- [2009/05/21 3:27] Sebastean Steamweaver: shouts: Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon X1800
- [2009/05/21 3:27] Sebastean Steamweaver: > <
- [2009/05/21 3:27] WolfPup Lowenhar: i have not had any probles with full bright or glow but im not on the newer nvida cards though

- [2009/05/21 3:28] Nexii Malthus: lol
- [2009/05/21 3:28] Moon Metty: ok, but the viewer updates all the changes?
- [2009/05/21 3:28] DMC Zsigmond: ATI 2000, 3000, and 4000 series tested here with factory samples
- [2009/05/21 3:28] EddyFragment Robonaught: on glow but fullbright scripted on/off needs right click to establish
- [2009/05/21 3:28] Moon Metty: cool thank you Eddy :)
- [2009/05/21 3:28] EddyFragment Robonaught: nvidia gts250
- [2009/05/21 3:28] Louise Linden: OK, so this is a good case for NMI
- [2009/05/21 3:29] WolfPup Lowenhar: eddy you on a laptop?
- [2009/05/21 3:29] EddyFragment Robonaught: no way
- [2009/05/21 3:29] Patrick Ouachita: ahhhh my eyes Ann my eyes lol
- [2009/05/21 3:29] Squirrel Wood: have you updated your graphics drivers recently ?
- [2009/05/21 3:29] Sebastean Steamweaver: Eddy, that might actually be related to the issue we were discussing withthe alpha changes.
- [2009/05/21 3:29] Dirk Talamasca: That's cool, Ann
- [2009/05/21 3:29] Ann Otoole: you getting modulating glow on this cape? you should be

- [2009/05/21 3:30] Dirk Talamasca: I should make a really annoying sim surround like that
