- [12:02] Alexa Linden: today's triage is .... [1]
- [12:02] Aargle Zymurgy: you probably don't have a bear for me yet. :-)
- [12:02] Alexa Linden: be nice to him...
- [12:02] Alexa Linden: no pitchforks
- [12:03] Questar Utu: He doesn't talk much. o.o
- [12:03] Aargle Zymurgy: nah... you know me. I don't do pitchforks.
- [12:03] Questar Utu: Rocket launchers?
- [12:04] Aargle Zymurgy: though, I don't think I have Davy's bear.
- [12:04] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Hey Fisher.
- [12:04] Fisher Linden: Hey!
- [12:04] Alexa Linden: So we're just waiting on Soft
- [12:04] Questar Utu: :o
- [12:04] Aargle Zymurgy: thank you, thank you!
- [12:04] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: takes hir tablets in the mean time.
- [12:04] Alexa Linden: See Fisher isn't new anymore
- [12:04] Alexa Linden: we can poke him
- [12:04] Alexa Linden: muahaha
- [12:04] Bronson Blackadder: softley waiting
- [12:04] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: shouts: I see a Soft.
- [12:04] Aargle Zymurgy: oh, good
- [12:04] Fisher Linden: lol
- [12:04] Fisher Linden: thanks, Alexa
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: Hi Moka ^^
- [12:05] Bronson Blackadder: hiya soft :)
- [12:05] Davy Linden: are we ready to start?
- [12:05] Questar Utu: Lotsa Lindens here today. :o
- [12:05] Moka Mint: :)
- [12:05] Aargle Zymurgy: I knew I had a pitchfork somewhere
- [12:05] Bronson Blackadder: hiya fisher :)
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: and the gang's all here.....
- [12:05] Aargle Zymurgy: heya, Soft!
- [12:05] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1685 - images uploaded 1)notify as failed but later silently debit L$ and multiple copies appear in inv, one for each retry 2)notify as, and do fail, yet notify debit of a/c
- [12:05] Fisher Linden: Hey Bronson
- [12:05] Soft Linden: Hey hey!
- [12:05] Soft Linden: Sorry I'm late - someone relink the agenda?
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: [2]
- [12:06] Soft Linden: thanks
- [12:06] Davy Linden: this is old, and no comments since july
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: does happen
- [12:06] Ardy Lay: Some of those have been inactive longer than I have been active.
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: but hard to repro
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: can be sim load, performance, DB.....
- [12:07] Bronson Blackadder: alot of factors
- [12:07] Aargle Zymurgy: how do I draw attention to a bug Ithink is probably easy to fix? this one: [3]
- [12:07] [[User:JIRA-helper: [#SVC-4963|JIRA-helper: [#SVC-4963]]:
- [12:07] Soft Linden: The upload issue would be really tough to do without catching it as it happens.
- [12:08] Alexa Linden: support?
- [12:08] Soft Linden: I think we should do "contact suppor," asking Support to notify a dev of this JIRA when it happens.
- [12:08] Soft Linden: Yeah.
- [12:08] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:08] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5084 - script don t work on ground but work on sky in two regions
- [12:08] Alexa Linden: Aargle, please bring this up again towards the end of the meeting?
- [12:08] Alexa Linden: and we can grab it then?
- [12:09] Aargle Zymurgy: sure. sorry.
- [12:09] Questar Utu: That one doesn't even explain what kind of script. o_o
- [12:09] Alexa Linden: thanks :)
- [12:09] Soft Linden: Harleen says that no-script only goes up 50-80 meters. I had no idea... that operates in the same space as banlines?
- [12:09] Davy Linden: this sounds like a no-script parcel
- [12:09] Questar Utu: Hell, it could even be designed not to work on the ground.. <o <
- [12:10] Davy Linden: yeah - scripts always work if you;re (I thought it was 90m) above land enough
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: game....
- [12:10] Soft Linden: So sounds like Expected Behavior
- [12:10] Bronson Blackadder: yep
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:10] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: nods.
- [12:10] Davy Linden: +1
- [12:10] Bronson Blackadder: lol
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: and there we have it :p
- [12:10] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5082 - Rez Build Failure on 1.34 Beta Server
- [12:10] Soft Linden: May be worth another issue asking to make that more clear in the parcel options though.
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: skip as imported?
- [12:11] Soft Linden: At the very least, that height limit should be in a hovertip or something.
- [12:11] Bronson Blackadder: yeah
- [12:11] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1385 - The german, french and japanese FAQ for the 2010 Linden prize contain outdated information
- [12:11] Davy Linden: blondin assigned this to himself
- [12:11] Bronson Blackadder: lol
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: I'll import?
- [12:12] Soft Linden: I just checked - the last issue is imported and in the core triage pool
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: thanks soft
- [12:12] Soft Linden: Blondin didn't import this issue. Should be imported and assigned to Blondin
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:12] Soft Linden: We've a bad track record on JIRAs that only get assigned externally :3
- [12:12] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-16054 - Implement OblongSculptiesDetails patch from cool viewer (also Emerald viewer) in standard viewer.
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: yes
- [12:13] Davy Linden: this is a FR?
- [12:13] Aimee Trescothick: sounds like one for Snowglobe
- [12:13] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Yeah, was thinking of Snowglobe.
- [12:13] Aimee Trescothick: it's a request to implement a bug fix
- [12:13] Ardy Lay: It does indeed.
- [12:13] Soft Linden: I'm pretty sure a different fix is already in Snowglobe
- [12:13] Aimee Trescothick: ah right
- [12:13] Soft Linden: Let's move this over to SNOW
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: I can poke over to merov and check
- [12:13] Soft Linden: Then it will come up in a Snowglobe triage
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:14] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1897 - Child prims stop responding to size and position changes
- [12:14] Bronson Blackadder: havent seen that happen yet
- [12:14] Bronson Blackadder: connectivity?
- [12:14] Bronson Blackadder: local lag?
- [12:14] Ellla McMahon: Mar 08 was bad for Grid stability .. could that be a cause ?

- [12:16] Davy Linden: CNR?
- [12:16] Soft Linden: Theory: This never repro'd - they just wanted us to see this bit of performance art.
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: LOL
- [12:16] Soft Linden: Yeah.
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: can't repro then?
- [12:16] Davy Linden: yep
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:16] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2031 - Animated products don't work properly any longer
- [12:16] Bronson Blackadder: so thats how micro prims are made
- [12:16] Aargle Zymurgy: oh, you should see my new updater I've created. it's like the crab creature from Alien in behaviour :-)
- [12:16] Bronson Blackadder: lol
- [12:17] Soft Linden: Last comment is 1.5 years ago
- [12:17] Xugu Madison: Aargle, it jumps on the thing to be upgraded and.... no, not continuing this metaphore
- [12:17] Questar Utu: Micro prims.. I must have a baby factory somewhere after that one avatar I made. >_>
- [12:17] Soft Linden: Should ask if it's still an issue, and for a slurl to affected content
- [12:17] Aargle Zymurgy: LOL@Xugu
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:17] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:18] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2040 - Bouncing Spheres not bouncing correctly
- [12:18] Bronson Blackadder: maybe even to ask if they bothered reseting the scripts
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: 2008
- [12:18] Bronson Blackadder: updated drivers?
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: NMI Still a problem?
- [12:19] Soft Linden: The answer on this is really - yes.
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:19] Soft Linden: Spheres only operate as spheres if nothing but scale changes - and only if scale changes uniformly
- [12:19] Soft Linden: Expected behavior
- [12:19] Davy Linden: ty for removing the say aimee :)
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: oh ok
- [12:19] Soft Linden: Anything else generates a low poly collision mesh.
- [12:19] Aimee Trescothick: ;)
- [12:19] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2046 - Havok 4 tolerances, elevator issues
- [12:20] Soft Linden: Unfortunately yeah - havok4 did change tolerances for performance reasons. It's too late to change that now, or everything created since would be affected too. :/
- [12:20] Davy Linden: EB?
- [12:20] Soft Linden: Under Advisement, if not Expected Behavior
- [12:20] Soft Linden: Yeah.
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:21] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2248 - LAND_COLLISION_START not working for child prims
- [12:21] Soft Linden: Hmm. Can see where this would be nice to have... dunno if it's not there on purpose?
- [12:21] Questar Utu: I can believe that one. I tried something similar.
- [12:22] Soft Linden: This isn't Major. But worth an import, I think.
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:22] Soft Linden: If it would be easy to enable, it would be nice
- [12:22] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2444 - Objects rez above ground at ground level and below the surface of a prim at 650m
- [12:22] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Well it is 650M...
- [12:23] Soft Linden: Has anyone seen the issue of rezzing below at high altitude?
- [12:23] Aargle Zymurgy: silly question, but isn't ground-level approximate?
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: not me
- [12:23] Questar Utu: Not that I recall. But I rarely pay attention.
- [12:23] Questar Utu: I can go up in test if anyone needs a repro. :p
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: I do all my building in a skybox
- [12:23] Bronson Blackadder: havent seen this
- [12:23] Aargle Zymurgy: I've had a series of objects align themselves with the ground and centers wind up above and below ground surface.
- [12:24] Bronson Blackadder: I build pretty high up
- [12:24] Questar Utu: I usually build at 4km.
- [12:25] Soft Linden: I'm hesitant to import on one vote unless someone else has seen this...
- [12:25] Ardy Lay: If I rez on the platform in Luskwood, objects are below the surface, here, on the step by my feet they rez at the surface and on the pad they rez above the surface.
- [12:25] Soft Linden: Can we NMI on this, and Ardy - if you could recheck that and add a specific slurl?
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:26] Soft Linden: Anyone else too - if you've got locations of rezzed platforms to test on... we can see if maybe it's like - oddly profile cut megaprims or the like.
- [12:26] Davy Linden: and could you include sizes/exact z location of the "ground" prims please?
- [12:26] Ardy Lay: It does seem to vary.
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: WB
- [12:26] Questar Utu: Nope, doesn't happen.
- [12:26] Questar Utu: Thanks. :p
- [12:26] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2553 - Item Permissions Update Issue
- [12:27] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Welcome back hon. :p
- [12:27] Questar Utu: Thankies. :3
- [12:27] Soft Linden: I've sure never seen this, and I do a lot with permissions...
- [12:28] Soft Linden: Hrm
- [12:28] Davy Linden: step by step repro would help
- [12:28] Soft Linden: Yeah, and someone else verifying they see it too.
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: nmi then?
- [12:29] Soft Linden: They sort of have repro steps in the first paragraph
- [12:29] Soft Linden: But at the very least, someone else verifying this happens
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:30] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2677 - Notecard: Embedded Textures not copying to inventory after notecard save failure
- [12:30] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: This dates 08.
- [12:30] Soft Linden: Could also invite them to contact support on the last one, if they want support to look at a specific object. Maybe they have something with different, incompatible next owner permissions as part of the object?
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:31] Soft Linden: So, notecard handling and item embedding has been largely changed since mid '08. I'd like to know if this is still happening, and specific repro steps if so
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:31] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2687 - Collision detection / Damage is off.. Only the sever damage/ collision is registered
- [12:32] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: thinks this one rings a bell.
- [12:32] Questar Utu: remembers this one from last time we were here..
- [12:32] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Wasn't this triaged some time ago?
- [12:32] Questar Utu: Even I remember it, so yes. :|
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: I remember one like this
- [12:32] Soft Linden: Contact Support on this one. If Concierge can verify they'll escalate? But I'd bet the region has damage off while only the parcel has it on.
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:33] Questar Utu: I think this one is a dupe though, I remember the title being different..
- [12:33] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2843 - No notification of group debits or negative balances
- [12:33] Ellla McMahon: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8164
- [12:33] [[User:JIRA-helper: [#VWR-8164|JIRA-helper: [#VWR-8164]]:
- [12:33] Davy Linden: ty ellla
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: Ellla to the rescue!
- [12:33] Ellla McMahon: same reporter
- [12:33] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Would be nice to know if a group is charging monthly.
- [12:33] Questar Utu: \o/ for people who think multiple jiras help.
- [12:33] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Or whatever it usually is.
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: I would sadly say expected behavior??
- [12:34] Ellla McMahon: re SVC-2843 .. is this bit true "When a group has a negative L$ balance, both the viewer (via the object info panel) and the server (via headers sent by llHTTPReqeust() ) display the group name as "(???)""
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: I know we get a lot of jiras from people wondering why they "lost" linden
- [12:34] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Unfortunately yeah - it does state on the website at least, so it's not completely hidden.
- [12:34] Ellla McMahon: is this why people see the Group name as (???)(???)
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: not sure about that part Ellla?
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: that's a new one on me?
- [12:35] Soft Linden: If anyone could verify that, it would be great.
- [12:35] Soft Linden: it would sure be surprising though! But possible something somewhere freaks about the - in the balance. We've seen stranger. :)
- [12:35] Ellla McMahon: could it answer https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4622
- [12:35] [[User:JIRA-helper: [#SVC-4622|JIRA-helper: [#SVC-4622]]:
- [12:36] Soft Linden: I think no notification here is expected behavior - but it's worth JIRAs proposing new notification types for offline debits.
- [12:36] Questar Utu: That sounds like either an asset failiure or ghosting..
- [12:36] Questar Utu: I've seen the (???) thing before.
- [12:36] Soft Linden: Should there be email summaries? Dialogs at next login? A place to review recent debits?
- [12:36] Davy Linden: change it to a FR?
- [12:36] Soft Linden: Yeah, I think change it to FR, and ask for ideas on how to notify?
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:37] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3320 - llGetObjectDetails(key id, [OBJECT_CREATOR]) bugging out until script reset
- [12:37] Hydrogen2 Oxygen: Hello everyone
- [12:37] Questar Utu: Oh, nevermind about ghosting.. I've seen it on things like paying linden or objects.
- [12:38] Entering god: mode, level 150
- [12:38] Woot Object: Hello, Avatar!
- [12:38] Aargle Zymurgy: on that function call, I just spent yesterday working with that call as part of the updater mentioned earlier. I had no problems with it
- [12:38] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:39] Questar Utu: ..
- [12:39] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: [12:39
- [12:40] Soft Linden: NMI - still happening, and slurls would be great
- [12:40] Soft Linden: Doesn't repro for me here
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:40] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Nice try, Davy. :p
- [12:40] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3672 - Server 1.24.10 does not recognize text flag to Mirror sculpties
- [12:41] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:41] Xugu Madison: (does anyone else sit here and occaisionally go "Wait, you can do that? I mean before it broke..."?)
- [12:41] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: I know very little about building/scripting so a lot of things are new to me. ;)
- [12:41] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:42] Soft Linden: This is resolved.
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:42] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3831 - When buying land, after the land purchase is completed, the land still remains for sale.
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: reprod yesterday
- [12:42] Davy Linden: this sounds similar to one of Chaos' bugs
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: like 4 times in a row
- [12:42] Soft Linden: Oof
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: I blamed it on overall weekend performance
- [12:42] Soft Linden: So you buy the land for 5L$ and someone else can ninja it away from you at L$5 too?
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: but scary after having 7 hours of building done
- [12:43] Soft Linden: Landbots would have a crazy party.
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: I bought land, built for a day
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: friend said "oh I can buy this from under you:
- [12:43] Bronson Blackadder: thats why I hate land bots
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: it was still set for sale at the smae price I had just bought it
- [12:43] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: o_o
- [12:44] Ellla McMahon: the linked issue is Chaos'
- [12:44] Soft Linden: But it does get the new owner, correct?
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: but showed me as the owner
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: I will add comments
- [12:44] Davy Linden: lol ty ellla.. I was striggling to find it using search
- [12:44] Soft Linden: Yeah, let's take this in. But also encourage people to list specific parcels to help the devs
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:44] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4238 - llHTTPRequest Throttle not working correct

- [12:45] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:45] Soft Linden: If the throttle numbers are wrong in the wiki, that's a headache
- [12:46] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4395 - For Estate Owners parcel access is inconsistent depending whether you are in the region or crossing into the region from an adjacent region, access should always be allowed for an Estate Owner.
- [12:47] Soft Linden: Could QA try this with a couple Oatmeal sims or such?
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: sure
- [12:47] Davy Linden: Aargle's Issue: SVC-4963
- [12:47] JIRA-helper: http//jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4963:
- [#SVC-4963] with dialog: buttons and Japanese
- [12:48] Bronson Blackadder: almost sounds the same as accidently banning yourself on your own land
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: I'll import
- [12:48] Aargle Zymurgy: bounces in his seat a bit.
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:48] Soft Linden: It wouldn't surprise me. The logic that determines parcel access across a boundary and from an adjacent parcel on the same sim are totally different implementations for no good reason.
- [12:48] Soft Linden: Oof. We should import this. There's probably someone doing a strlen on a unicode string. Sad ending!
- [12:49] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:49] Alexa Linden: one more Davy?
- [12:49] Davy Linden: ok
- [12:49] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4415 - llRotBetween sometimes gives erroneous results.
- [12:50] Soft Linden: Yup, this looks legitimate.
- [12:50] Soft Linden: Import please
- [12:50] Xugu Madison: LSL rotation functions in not quite working shocker
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: importing it goes
- [12:50] Soft Linden: Yes'm!
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: we're too fast today
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: one more?
- [12:50] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4567 - Cannot get a list of last names to show up in registration. Clicking on 'find last names' does nothing.
- [12:51] Aargle Zymurgy: this is fun. I need to come to these meetings more often.
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: we're at 22 bugs today :)
- [12:51] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: ;)

- [12:53] Moka Mint: tucks her starchild alt away.
- [12:53] Soft Linden: Counting ones that never logged in and don't show in search
- [12:53] Soft Linden: hits Alexa with his purse. "No, mine! I'm Starchild." >:(
- [12:53] Bronson Blackadder: lol
- [12:54] Aargle Zymurgy: and is there a Sparticus?

- [12:54] Questar Utu: I'm still sad I can't change my last name. >:
- [12:54] Aimee Trescothick: thinks there should be a "Random Linden"
- [12:54] Aargle Zymurgy: avatars with dimpled chins are a requirement for that av
