• [15:22] Oskar Linden: other than "Addresses back-end issues to make simulator/region restarts faster and more reliable. "

• [15:22] Oskar Linden: Not a significant amount of code changes
• [15:22] Oskar Linden: but will help out during rolling restarts for sure
• [15:23] Maestro Linden: basically, the changes make simulators on a host take turns when they shut down and save their simstate, rather than all saving simstate simultaneously

• [15:24] Maestro Linden: (the traditional simultaneous behavior sometimes made shutdowns really slow in certain cases, especially for openspace/homestead regions)

• [15:26] Oskar Linden: it'd be better to fix the root issue than to add another restart
• [15:26] Gooden Uggla: it seems like the easiest solution
• [15:27] Gooden Uggla: add a restart 2 hours later
• [15:27] Gooden Uggla: and just restart, not add code
• [15:27] Oskar Linden: so basically adding a shutdown with the new code
