New:

1. Post-mortem on Direct Delivery rollout (Oz Linden)
   • So did nearly everything related to Direct Delivery ended up shipping the 21st? What was said as the last TPVD meeting seemed to have changed the fallowing week in Linden blog post, but we were apparently unable to gain any more info on what had changed for the rollout and were caught off guard that Outbox supported was deployed and with only a short migration period for Magic Boxes. How can TPVD's get clarification next time when it seems that plans for a service addition/change/deprecation have been altered last minute? What channel should be used? TPVD mailing list (which most of us can't access, including me)? (I may not be able to attend Friday. I don't want to discus blame, only how to make these transitions smoother next time. :3) --Kadah Coba
   • (Related) I tested out transitioning to DD. It took me about 3 minutes to move over a single item due to service errors and timeouts, plus the general slowness of the Marketplace site compared to the rest of LL's web services. I would hate to think what would happen if more than a handful of someone's listing fail to automatic re-association, or if they transitioned to pre-unpacked, and then have to do it by hand. I'm hoping these issues I've seen are only due to service load. --Kadah Coba
2. Discussion (Oz Linden):

   Should viewers allow override of the "Can't fly" parcel permission?

   • What reasons are there to allow flying against the parcel owners wishes?
   • If there are valid ones, is there a better approach than a blanket override?

   • SH-2791 (Mesh queue stuck, all other reports of this eg) SH-2568 are getting closed as a dupe of SH-2791).

8. Communications reliability issues
   • VWR-25940 HTTP communication with grid capabilities router is unreliable at times affecting HTTP Textures
   • SVC-6917 Apache2-worker/caps router on sim hosts is relaying 499 HTTP status codes back to clients - not a valid wire status code
   • SVC-6760 Apache2-worker/caps router on sim hosts is experiencing a high failure rate leading to service interruptions
   • VWR-25145 asset/texture download scenarios that work badly
   • VWR-26218 Windows viewer is experiencing DNS issues while attempting to fetch textures
