Keeping a record of the MotD is a great idea, but if it isn't automated...

There's two ways to go about this:
  • An external server mainatined by a resident and running a skeleton viewer would connect to the SL servers daily, then run a script with their wiki-credentials to auto-append this article, or...
  • ... the Lab could hook up their MOTD-database to the wiki and have it done automatically.
Maybe you should suggest it on Canny?
