Sounds like there will be lots of reinstallations and perhaps uninstalls for those using the various bi-weekly, nightly and other builds.
Any chance that something will be done to make our settings persist through uninstall and installs?

- It seems that Snowstorm latest build uses settings_development.xml. Maybe as a workaround one can use a login parameter, and tell the viewer which settings file to use. --oobscure 18:02, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
