Working with the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) and Army Research Labs on a project for the Whole of Society Crisis Response (WoSCR) to better network with the teams that will come together when natural disasters happen around the world. Part of that project also involves Open Source asset creation with Clever Zebra to provide free SL and web assets to allow government agencies and commercial companies to have free assets to start up quickly in the virtual worlds. We even created an amphitheater that sits on the corner of 4 sims (can see on north end of the VCE) to accomodate up to 400 avatars for a single meeting or be used as 4 separate amphitheaters for separate meetings. You can find a number of these on the VCE sim and pickup a copy of them from the freebies boxes (just south of the main arrival plaza). | |||
