Second Life Solution Provider, Virtual Worlds Specialist, Virtual World Developer, Graphic Designer, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Specialist in Second Life, OpenSim, and Unity 3D. I've also hosted mixed-reality events for NATO and created the JOE GeoDome to highlight the futures research of the Joint Operating Environment (JOE) for U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM). I created the Virtual Guide Sun Tzu as part of the "Greybeards Project" using advanced AI technologies. Sun Tzu can be run through a chatbot that provides him many capabilities through the use of Automated Avatar Markup Language (AAML) and Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML):

  • Give automated tours (movements, chat, and teleportation)
  • Communicate like a real avatar (chat, IM)
  • Feel emotions
  • Be inquisitive
  • Learn from the environment
  • Web Scraping (using web services to provide answers to questions asked in world)
  • Automated communication with social networks (like Twitter and Facebook)

Working with the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) and Army Research Labs on a project for the Whole of Society Crisis Response (WoSCR) to better network with the teams that will come together when natural disasters happen around the world. Part of that project also involves Open Source asset creation with Clever Zebra to provide free SL and web assets to allow government agencies and commercial companies to have free assets to start up quickly in the virtual worlds. We even created an amphitheater that sits on the corner of 4 sims (can see on north end of the VCE) to accomodate up to 400 avatars for a single meeting or be used as 4 separate amphitheaters for separate meetings. You can find a number of these on the VCE sim and pickup a copy of them from the freebies boxes (just south of the main arrival plaza). SLURL to visit the VCE sim Freebies area
