PFTC - Prims for the Cure.


Description:
Using the PFTC - Prims for the Cure is as easy as dragging a notecard, and object out from your inventory into the PFTC Vendor. First off, the PFTC vendor allows you to sell your products, while donating to the American Cancer Society. Here's how it works:
Once your vendor is setup, and is ready to sell. When a resident purchases an item/product from the vendor 50 % of the purchase goes to you, and 50 % goes to PFTC, which is then donated completely to the American Cancer Society in real life.
We encourage you to test the vendor, using a 2 L$ purchase price. To make sure its working correctly (information on testing is below).
Keep going! Its not as hard as it looks, promise.
Instructions:
1. Rez/Drag the PFTC Vendor out of your inventory onto the ground.
2. Right click on the PFTC vendor, and select edit. Now while in the "Build" window. Look for 'General', 'Object,' 'Features,' 'Texture' and 'Content.' We will be using the 'Content' tab primarily.
3. Look for a modifiable notecard called "price." Left click, to open this notecard. You will see one line, with "2" This means your product/item is set to sell for 2 L$. Change this number to your own preference, for example "10" to set it for 10 L$.
4. Now drag the product that you want inside of the PFTC vendor from your inventory to the PFTC vendors 'Content'.
5. Show off your product! Place a screenshot/snapshot of your item/product on the display. By default it has the PFTC logo on it. Drag a screenshot/snapshot from your inventory onto the current logo, and it will set it to that image.
6. Add an information notecard to the PFTC vendor. Find the "Click for.. Product Info" button on the PFTC vendor. Hold down Control/Ctrl while dragging a notecard onto the button. It will then send a product info notecard to any resident/user that touches it.
7. Spread the word! Let people know you have a PFTC vendor or vendors at your store!
Customize:
Don't like the vendors style? Simply hate it? Want to add your own look to it? No problem. Feel free to customize it as much as you want! Just keep the scripts in-tact, and keep the PFTC Information logo visible!
Testing:
Testing the PFTC vendor is easy. Once you have it setup, with your items in them. Simple set the price to the default which is 2 L$ again. Right click > select Pay, and pay the vendor 2 L$. If everything works correctly you should not see a change with your L$ amounts for a few moments, then you will notice that you have paid "PFTC Portal" 1 L$. Now if you receive the item you expected from the purchase. You done. Set the price back to the amount you desire. And your done.
Note: By testing the PFTC vendor, using the value of 2. You will loose 1 Linden Dollar. Consider it a donation to PFTC. But if you want it back, just IM the "PFTC Portal" account.
Who is this PFTC Portal person?
"PFTC Portal" is run by Gnome Inkpen. It is simply to make sure everything that is donated, gets completely donated to the American Cancer Society.
Will my customers see this going to "PFTC Portal"?
No, your customers will only see the transaction as there paying you. Once you have been paid, the vendor automatically sends the 50 % to PFTC.
