[2012/12/13 15:10]  Jonathan Yap: You can upload 2 kinds of animations: bvh format and .anim format
[2012/12/13 15:11]  Nal (nalates.sonnenkern): BVH and ANIM have similar structure. Both are converted into the SL internal format.
[2012/12/13 15:11]  Simon Linden: Right - there are two limits - 30 seconds and 60kb. The 60kb has been increased, but the time limit is enforced viewer side (I think)
[2012/12/13 15:12]  Jonathan Yap: I have worked in the upload code area and did not see any time check, but maybe it is being done some other place
[2012/12/13 15:12]  Jenna Felton: if i am not wrng, there is no preload of animations. larger animations will be rather not in sync, if too big download size
[2012/12/13 15:13]  Jonathan Yap: There is no time check for sure for .anim uploads; there might be one for bvh types as those go through a previewer

[2012/12/13 15:16]  Nal (nalates.sonnenkern): Yes the visible avatar can be moved, even under ground. But, the physics part of the avatar stays in place. Its a big deal in combat regions.

[2012/12/13 15:54]  Lucia Nightfire: Theres several spam objects being unknowingly distro'd in the community that can lag a sim to near 0 TD/FPS if only one of them is rezzed and in many cases they go above 50 meters above land and even after a ban they may stop rezzing, but they continue to lag the sim and/or spam the agents there
