- [12:05] Aric Linden: should we start?
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: bummer
- [12:05] Harleen Gretzky: aww
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: Hi Ego :)
- [12:06] Ego Essex: Yay it's my favorite linden who gets things done *high five*
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: laughs
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: Hoppy Monday ;)
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: loves bad puns
- [12:06] Aric Linden: laughs
- [12:06] Squirrel Wood: Bunntastic! ^^
- [12:06] Ego Essex: The monday after Easter is always hoppy i guess huh
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:07] Aric Linden: let's start with vwr-1998 (which happens to be the year i was born)
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: LMAO
- [12:07] Harleen Gretzky: yeah right
- [12:07] Squirrel Wood: ^^
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: bans Aric from the sim
- [12:07] Harleen Gretzky: LOL
- [12:07] Aric Linden: wha?
- [12:07] Squirrel Wood: I believe a second restart of the client fixes that?
- [12:07] Aric Linden: I'm a mere lad
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: mature sim
- [12:08] Harleen Gretzky: Not old enough to be here :)
- [12:08] Aric Linden: well, I'm way more mature than my age indicates
- [12:08] Aric Linden: falls over
- [12:08] Ego Essex: So do the lindens that have Bug Triage only come in alphabetical order because every linden here is A Or B. Is it a linden conspiracy?
- [12:08] Alexa Linden: whistles and looks at her shoes
- [12:08] Aric Linden: @ego we rotate
- [12:08] Aric Linden: the a's and b's are on call indefinitely tho
- [12:09] Ego Essex: Oh Okay!
- [12:09] Aric Linden: @squirrell, this is apparently still a big issue
- [12:09] Harleen Gretzky: OK, I talked to McCabe on this he is saying that this issue is just one specific repro of VWR-4570. That is clearing cache and logging in and having the friends list this way, whereas, VWR-4570 includes cases when the cache is not cleared.
- [12:09] Aric Linden: interesting Harleen
- [12:10] Aric Linden: I think we should link them and import
- [12:10] Aric Linden: and link to the internal issue as well
- [12:10] Aric Linden: anyone else?
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: noted
- [12:10] Aric Linden: thanks A
- [12:10] Aric Linden: ;-)
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: :p
- [12:11] Aric Linden: svc-1487
- [12:12] Aric Linden: hmm. import and assign to Morpheus me thinks
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:12] Aric Linden: at least they can track through the transaction id's
- [12:12] Aric Linden: I'd be curious to know if this is a timeout by GC. You might ask that internally, Alexa
- [12:13] Squirrel Wood: with the recent issues I would not be surprised if a timeout is involved there
- [12:13] Aric Linden: agreed, squirrel
- [12:13] Squirrel Wood: like with the chat error messages
- [12:13] Aric Linden: plus there are issues with GC itself
- [12:13] Squirrel Wood: you get an error but the message goes through anyway
- [12:14] Aric Linden: they sometimes hold onto the call, it times out and we don't get anything useful passed back to us
- [12:14] Squirrel Wood: This may be related?
- [12:14] Aric Linden: GC is our credit card processor
- [12:14] Aric Linden: Maybe, squirrel, or it might just be badness on their part
- [12:14] Squirrel Wood: I think this is ingame transactions ?
- [12:14] Aric Linden: nods
- [12:15] Aric Linden: let's move along if that's ok?
- [12:15] Jana Kamachi: Hey we got a V
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: and an R
- [12:15] Squirrel Wood: Hey Rob!
- [12:15] Rob Linden: howdy
- [12:15] Squirrel Wood: Hello Vektor! ^^
- [12:15] Aric Linden: vwr-4727
- [12:15] Ego Essex: Oh good rotation starting now :)
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: hahahaha
- [12:16] Aric Linden: grins
- [12:16] Squirrel Wood: the RC2 client sometimes decides to freeze on me - and most times it will not recover and I have to kill the task
- [12:16] Ego Essex: ( the' top half of the alphabet is definetly nicer to look at)
- [12:16] Vektor Linden: Hey Squirrel!
- [12:16] Aric Linden: I wonder why this was re-opened
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: mark with Last Triaged?
- [12:17] Bridie Linden: Not sure
- [12:17] Jana Kamachi: it seems that the issue still exists for him, just not a severe
- [12:17] Aric Linden: Dizzy seems to be feeling as though things are better
- [12:18] Harleen Gretzky: MB reopened it
- [12:18] Aric Linden: Yes, but I think MB reopened it to add his "feature" requests
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: want me to request he take that and make a new Pjira?
- [12:18] Aric Linden: yes please
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: and then resolve the main one?
- [12:19] Aric Linden: we're already doing that for gfx cards
- [12:19] Aric Linden: yes, please Alexa
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:19] Aric Linden: vwr-5496 is next
- [12:19] Squirrel Wood: [1] <= Agenda
- [12:20] Aric Linden: this has already been imported
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:20] Aric Linden: let's move on to vwr-1153
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: then the next one...
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: has already been triaged
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: last week
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: 17/Mar/08 01:22 PM
- [12:21] Squirrel Wood: more info added though
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:21] Aric Linden: wow - sculpties stuff
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: yes
- [12:21] Aric Linden: I think we should take this and assign it to triage
- [12:22] Aric Linden: other opinions?
- [12:22] Aric Linden: chiirrup
- [12:22] Aric Linden: chirrreup
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: ok - importing and assigning
- [12:22] Aric Linden: thanks
- [12:22] Squirrel Wood: spheres during sculpt animations suck big..
- [12:23] Aric Linden: vwr-2085
- [12:23] Aric Linden: I love the name of the person logging this: surfwidow
- [12:23] Aric Linden: Ossmness
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: hahahaha
- [12:24] Aric Linden: let's grab this and assign to RX
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:25] Aric Linden: vwr-5299 is next
- [12:26] Aric Linden: great thread in the bug
- [12:27] Aric Linden: thoughts anyone?
- [12:28] Aric Linden: I wonder if it's still an issue?
- [12:28] Aric Linden: I can't tell from the thread
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: want me to ask?
- [12:28] Harleen Gretzky: Torley's comment seems to indicate it might be fixed in the RC
- [12:29] Aric Linden: i'd love confirmation of that from fredy and kenny
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: I'll post and ask
- [12:29] Aric Linden: thanks
- [12:29] Aric Linden: vwr-4245
- [12:30] Squirrel Wood: happens to me on rc2
- [12:31] Aric Linden: let's take this one. please assign to me and I'll have someone in legba poke at it
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:31] Harleen Gretzky: Alexa marked this is a dupe of VWR-2051
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: will do :)
- [12:31] Aric Linden: nods at Harleen; but it may not be voice, as it pointed out
- [12:31] Aric Linden: I think it's the mouselook issue (which I've seen myself several times)
- [12:32] Aric Linden: somehow updates get stuck when you go into mouseview and pan
- [12:32] Aric Linden: it can be very frustrating
- [12:32] Harleen Gretzky: No, I think on VWR-2051 has nothing to do with voice either, they were just saying since voice was put in and tehy had voice disabled in VWR-2051 also
- [12:33] Harleen Gretzky: From desc of VWR-2051: I have voice turned off (not using that at all). Reduced all settings down to the minimum already.
- [12:33] Aric Linden: listens
- [12:34] Vektor Linden: appears to be cross platform, and is occurring on ati and nvidia. No one has posted any information as to what theyre seeing with fast timers enabled
- [12:34] Aric Linden: nods at vektor - that's why i'd like to see if we can repro inhouse and get some more detailed info
- [12:35] Jana Kamachi: one more person rings my doorbell I'm attaching the cars battery to it
- [12:35] Aric Linden: big chat lag
- [12:35] Harleen Gretzky: There are fast timer screen shots on VWR-2051
- [12:36] Vektor Linden: watches Ed McMahon crumble on Jana's doorstep, publishers clearinghouse check drifting slowly in the breeze
- [12:37] Vektor Linden: Thanks Harleen, I will look
- [12:37] Jana Kamachi: xD
- [12:37] Aric Linden: Let's move along to vwr-2370 while Vektor is looking
- [12:37] Aric Linden: Jana, if you do win, drinks are on you?
- [12:38] Jana Kamachi: I'll buy a sim for each of ya with a giant pina colada in each
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: woohoo!
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: gets out the beach lounger
- [12:39] Jana Kamachi: I get vwr-2370 often
- [12:39] Harleen Gretzky: Seems like the same as the last one and Alexa closed this one as a dupe of VWR-2051 also
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: me too
- [12:39] Squirrel Wood: 2370 and 4245 look as if they are the same...
- [12:40] Jana Kamachi: should be noted while it seems frozen, my disk read/write goes nuts
- [12:40] Aric Linden: or at least related
- [12:40] Harleen Gretzky: Sounds like it is paging
- [12:40] Squirrel Wood: Its not paging...
- [12:40] Jana Kamachi: no page file
- [12:40] Harleen Gretzky: ahh
- [12:40] Squirrel Wood: cache cleanup mayhaps
- [12:40] Aric Linden: on the mac they could run smcfancontrol
- [12:41] Aric Linden: it's a little widget that monitors your cpu and gpu temp
- [12:41] Squirrel Wood: Its not a heat bug either
- [12:41] Aric Linden: but they're windoze
- [12:41] Squirrel Wood: my cpu runs at 100% 24/7
- [12:41] Jana Kamachi: This affects me on the mac as well
- [12:42] Squirrel Wood: due to seti and stuff
- [12:42] Squirrel Wood: and the client eats up the cpu time of one core. completely.
- [12:42] Aric Linden: we have some heat issues on macbooks
- [12:42] Squirrel Wood: macbooks are design flaws :p
- [12:43] Aric Linden: some of the people in qa have complained about it
- [12:43] Aric Linden: laughs
- [12:43] Jana Kamachi: They are, I doubt its specific to SL
- [12:43] Squirrel Wood: Hell, someole lost one of those new air books recently.
- [12:43] Squirrel Wood: someone even
- [12:43] Bridie Linden: should we link to VWR-2548?
- [12:43] Jana Kamachi: the intake and outtake in the same spot? and pointing down? makes no sense
- [12:43] Squirrel Wood: their wife threw it away as it was in a staple of old magazines
- [12:43] Aric Linden: seems as though we might want to link it
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:44] Bridie Linden: Might pick up some steam internally with these other reports
- [12:44] Aric Linden: agrees
- [12:44] Aric Linden: let's take it and link it with the other issues
- [12:45] Aric Linden: looks at Vektor
- [12:45] Jana Kamachi: interesting, enabling multiple threads dropped CPU usage to 26% from 60
- [12:46] Vektor Linden: / the impossible just happened...my ATI/Vista machine crashed completely...
- [12:46] Aric Linden: vista? crashy? no, it's not possible. are you sure you didn't kick the plug out of the wall?
- [12:46] Vektor Linden: One of those 'act of god' things the insurance companies talk about. What bug are we on? :P
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: we are moving into patches
- [12:47] Jana Kamachi: vwr-2370
- [12:47] Vektor Linden: Thanks :D
- [12:47] Aric Linden: I think we're going to take 2370 and work it internally a little, see if we can get some momentum
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: ntoed
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: noted*
- [12:48] Aric Linden: lets look at vwr-5659
- [12:48] Aric Linden: doens't know about OpenAL
- [12:48] Aric Linden: rob?
- [12:48] Aric Linden: do you know anything about it?
- [12:48] Jana Kamachi: OpenAL is an audio framework
- [12:48] Rob Linden: looks at 5659
- [12:49] Aric Linden: should know about it
- [12:49] Aric Linden: will look it up after this meeting
- [12:49] Rob Linden: OpenAL is an open source replacement for FMOD
- [12:49] Aric Linden: ahhs
- [12:49] Jana Kamachi: "replacement" /=
- [12:50] Aric Linden: let
- [12:50] Rob Linden: however, the FMOD features that aren't in OpenAL need to be handled in GStreamer (an open source media player) or something else
- [12:50] Aric Linden: let's take it in - though it appears that Michelle2 is working on another
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:51] Aric Linden: Rob, does that work for you?
- [12:51] Rob Linden: yup, take and assign to Tofu
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:52] Aric Linden: it looks as though vwr-5444 is being worked internally
- [12:53] Aric Linden: let's jump to vwr-5709
- [12:53] Rob Linden: yup....odd that it isn't imported
- [12:53] Aric Linden: neither are the next two rob
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: want me to?
- [12:54] Alexa Linden: and tie to LL one?
- [12:54] Harleen Gretzky: Phoenix is assigned to the next two which VWR-5444 duplicated
- [12:54] Aric Linden: yes, it appears that phoenix is on it, so simply assign them to him with a note indicating that we're syncing pjira and jira
- [12:54] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:54] Aric Linden: yes on linking please
- [12:54] Rob Linden: what Aric said
- [12:54] Alexa Linden: gotcha
- [12:54] Alexa Linden: and that's for 5444
- [12:55] Aric Linden: grins at Rob Linden
- [12:55] Aric Linden: vwr-5709 can be imported and assigned to pastrami linden
- [12:56] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:56] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:56] Aric Linden: Alexa, please tag it maint renderer
- [12:56] Aric Linden: pastrami is very finicky about this
- [12:56] Alexa Linden: got it
- [12:56] Alexa Linden: what about 5413/
- [12:56] Alexa Linden: ?*
- [12:56] Harleen Gretzky: VWR-3612 is another unsupported card that 2 more JIRAs were put in for today
- [12:57] Aric Linden: 5413 should be imported, assigned to phoenix and linked internally
- [12:57] Aric Linden: phoenix is already onit
- [12:57] Alexa Linden: got it
- [12:57] Squirrel Wood: Ha! Bug. ^^
- [12:58] Squirrel Wood: Slowly move the mouse over that prim while rapidly clicking it - notice that the mouse appears to be centered on the prims center...
- [12:58] Aric Linden: on to the misc pool
- [12:58] Alexa Linden: wait
- [12:58] Alexa Linden: sorry
- [12:59] Alexa Linden: did we skip 5412
- [12:59] Harleen Gretzky: same as 5413, Phoenix on it
- [12:59] Alexa Linden: ok ty
- [13:00] Alexa Linden: looks like time is up Aric
- [13:00] Bridie Linden: thx all!
- [13:00] Alexa Linden: thanks everyone!
